Astronomers have found a new planet orbiting our Sun. The new-discovered icy, reddish body is between 595 and 788 miles across, around the size of Pluto?s moon Charon. It has been named 2001 KX76 for now. ?When we spotted it, we just wrote ‘wow’ on the image,? says co-discoverer Dr Lawrence Wasserman of the Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, Arizona. ?We knew right away it was a big one.?

Ancient Cave Art Discovered

Prehistoric engravings that could date back as far as 28,000 BC have been found in a cave in western France. They are believed to predate the 18,000-year-old paintings in the Lascaux caves which are the world’s oldest cave paintings and are also in western France. Both caves are in France’s western Dordogne region.

A U-shaped object has been videotaped over Lewisham, near London, in broad daylight by British UFO investigator Christopher Martin. The tape was made in excellent daylight weather conditions on July 1, 2001 and has been presented to Ian Birdsall and Russell Callaghan of the British UFO Magazine.

The object could be some kind of construction of terrestrial origin, but it certainly is not anything ordinarily seen in the skies. In this sense, it is reminiscent of the “platform UFO” taped over Salida, Colorado by Tim Edwards in 1993 and shown on television worldwide. The Edwards UFO was never explained.

Crop circles are appearing during the 2001 season with as much frequency as before, despite the predictions of skeptics that this season would be a sparse one. The fact that a crop circle hoaxer was arrested for trespassing and mischief after last year’s season, and the restrictions on movement in rural areas due to the Foot-and-Mouth epidemic, caused many researchers to predict that there would be few formations during this year’s season.

However, this has proved not to be the case. In May and June of 2000, there were approximately 33 formations reported. This year during the same period, 29 have been reported, according to the database at Cropcircleresearch.com.
