There are a lot of things I don’t like about Los Angeles–too spread out, too hard to make friends here–but one of the things I DO like is being among so-called "secular Jews" once again. I lived with these people in New York City and I find them delightful: They don’t try to "convert" you, they are interested in the arts and support them enthusiastically, and they love intellectual ideas. They’re A BIT tribal (you’ll always do better with them if you’re Jewish too), but not too much.

We are reaching a point where nothing but nothing on the intnet is to be trusted. At the same time, many extraordinary and very real things–videos, witness accounts, etc., are being posted there. It’s almost as if the hoaxers are there to muddy the waters. Wonder who these creeps REALLY are??

These objects function like birds or perhaps insects close to the camera, but they would have been easily identifiable as such by the videographer, and he appears to be sincere in his description of what he saw, so we are listing this as a possible video of an unknown airborne life form or unusual cloud phenomenon.

The online novel about ‘strange boxes’ on the Oregon coast that no professionals responsible for the beach could find now has a new chapter: alien life forms are being found in the water! Oh, yeah, they must have come out of the nonexistent boxes. (A note to the author: Forget the internet and write a movie. You’ve got a great premise going!)
