New Observations is delighted to share the life and work of German artist and filmmaker Ati Maier.  In this interview we focus on her series of four short films from the Space Rider Series, where her alter-ego character the Space Rider and her horse visit the earth from some unknown planet.  In her third film entitled “Prophesy of the Encounter,” the Space Rider visits with members of the Lakota tribe on the Pine Ridge Reservation.  The link for the film is here:

    1. To watch the Space Rider film, click on the link above then click on the button which says “submit.” You will be taken to the Vimeo player.

      1. Hi Mia – I am taken to the Vimeo website which then says the video is private and requires a password. Is there a password we can use?

        1. Hello Clara,

          I made a note in the comments above that the viewer should click the link provided that takes you to the Vimeo sign in. Once there you click “SUBMIT” and you have access. The password is there already.

  3. Hi Mia- The instructions above do not work- clicking on the link provided does not provide a password. Clicking on the SUBMIT with the password area left blank does not take me to the Vimeo player. Please help. Thank you.

    1. Hi Marla,

      The password is already typed into the correct area. Leave it there and click the “SUBMIT” button. It works!

      1. Hello Mia and Ati! The password is also empty for me as well, and therefore doesn’t work when I click Submit. It tells me, “Sorry, that password was incorrect. Please try again”. I’m in Windows 10, and have tried Chrome and Edge browsers. I would like to see the films after hearing this wonderful interview!

          Ati – I googled you and went to your website, http://www.atimaier.com/ and there you list the password along with links to all 4 videos.

  4. I also wanted to see the Vimeo video… no chnances to log in, which I tried few time being within MY Vimeo account! I gave up… too bad… too much hoops to jump over…

    1. Considering that the password is already listed on an open site, I don’t know why folks aren’t just showing it here in Unknowncountry. The pw is GoldiLock33
