In the Company of Gods centers on a series of lectures delivered in 1985 by the late mystic and yogi Shelly Trimmer (1917-1996). Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Trimmer was a student of the famed spiritual teacher Paramahansa Yogananda during the early 1940s, and went on to teach in a more independent way to a small number of students. This volume focuses on a series of rare public talks he delivered in Chicago in 1985, and comments he made on such topics as meditation, reincarnation, astrology, suffering, the chakras, God – and others.
