Pole Shift Underway
The magnetic North Pole is shifting and the poles may even flip–this is something geologists say happens regularly on the earth (NOTE: Subscribers can still listen to this show). The current pole shift caused the Tampa International Airport to shut down one of its runways in order to repaint the North/South indicators at either end of it. The North Poles is gradually shifting towards Russia at the rate of about 40 miles per year. The number 36 runway pointed North at 360 degrees, but now it points 10 degrees north, so the airport decided to rename it number 1.

MORE Bird Deaths!
First it was redwinged blackbirds falling out of the sky–in two places in the US and also in Sweden. Then it was thousands of dead fish. Now it’s doves: A thousand of them have dropped out of the sky in Italy, all with blue stains on their beaks. Officials says the blue tint indicates hypoxia, which is a lack of oxygen that can confuse animals.
In the January 7th edition of the Telegraph, Nick Pisa quotes a local Italian newspaper as saying, "Let’s hope it is poisoning or an illness because that would be easier to deal with than it being a sign the world is coming to an end."

Dead Zones
It’s not just birds that are dying: Arkansas officials are investigating the death of 100,000 fish in a lake in a town near Little Rock and suspect disease is to blame. CNN quotes Game & Fish Commissioner Keith Stephens as saying, "The fish kill only affected one species of fish. If it was from a pollutant, it would have affected all of the fish, not just drum fish."
