A massive 29 foot tall wall has been uncovered in Jerusalem that engineers do not believe could be built today, even with modern equipment. The 3,700 year old wall has amazed archaeologists because of its huge size and great length, and it is probable that it is even longer than has so far been discovered.

CNN.com quotes archaeologist Ronny Reich as saying, “I don’t know how to do it today without mechanical equipment.” This is yet another mysterious ancient monument that baffles scientists, who can’t figure out how it was made. Some of the others in this group are the Great Pyramid at Giza and the Platform at Baalbek.

Here’s another reason why honeybees may be disappearing: the electromagnetic waves given off by cell phone towers may cripple their navigational abilities.

A recent study done in India reveals that a sudden decrease in the bee population in New Delhi is linked to the installation of a series of new cell phone towers there, as phone companies increase their networks. The researchers found that when a cell phone was kept near a beehive, worker bees were unable to find their way home, leaving the hives with only the queens and eggs. The affected bee colony collapsed with 10 days.
