We can use it?but they can too – An electromagnetic pulse weapon that can “fry” the components of a jet plane can be built using information and equipment available on the internet.

In New Scientist, Paul Marks quotes Israeli counter-terrorist Yael Shahar as saying, “These will become more of a threat as the electromagnetic weapons technology matures.” A single major pulse, especially if directed at a plane that is taking off or coming in for a landing, could destroy the aircraft by creating an electric field that causes microchips and electronics in the plane to burn out. This would not blow up the airplane, but could cause it to crash (and take offs and landings are the most dangerous times for this anyway).

A Danish laboratory reports that it has found evidence of the presence of the explosive thermite in dust recovered from the site of the September 11, 2001 destruction of the World Trade Center.This is the first time that physical evidenceof a pyrotechnic used in, among other things, demolition,has been confirmed to be present in the debris. Researchers concerned that the collapse of the two towers was not a likely result of impact by aircraft have long contended that they appeared to implode, as if they had been destroyed by controlled demolitions. The discovery that thermite was definitely present during the disaster strongly suggests that the towers may have been prepared in advance for destruction. Thermite is a pyrotechnic capable of producing extremely high heat.read more

Some of the chemicals found in food packaging, upholstery and carpets may damage female fertility, because they contain PFCs (perfluorinated chemicals). Manufacturers love PFCs because they resist heat and repel water and oil. When scientists tested the blood of a large group of California women of child-bearing age, they found that over 1,200 of them tested positive for PFCs. Most of them said they were looking forward to having children, but researchers think this is less likely to happen to women who have a large amount of that chemical in their bodies.read more
