Many Muslims no longer want to drink Coke, since it’s a U.S. product, so Tawfik Mathlouthi invented Mecca Cola, with the slogan, “No more drinking stupid, drink with commitment.” He says the drink fights “America’s imperialism and Zionism by providing a substitute for American goods and increasing the blockade of countries boycotting American goods.”

10% of the profits go to charities operating in Palestinian territories. When asked how the company makes sure the money doesn?t end up in the hands of terrorists, Mathlouthi says, “We give help by providing clothes and goods, or by paying the costs of the construction of schools there.”

After the exciting news that there may be water on Mars, Australian geologist Nick Hoffman says that the gullies near the south pole that form as the ice cap retreats in the spring are made by gaseous carbon dioxide, not water, meaning there may be no life on Mars. He thinks there’s no liquid?frozen or otherwise?on Mars at all. This means there’s no possibility of life on Mars. Hoffman says, “Mars is not a cold Earth. It is a different world, it works in another way. It is more like a warmer version of Europa, a moon of Jupiter, than our Earth.”
