The alarming rise in the rate of childhood autism in the West has scientists and governments scrambling for answers. Many parents and researchers believe that much of this autism was caused by the mercury preservative thimerosal, which was until recently put into the childhood vaccine for Measles, Mumps and Rubella (German Measles) known as MMR. Over 1,000 parents with autistic children are suing the manufacturers of the vaccine and more lawsuits are sure to follow.

Over 20 years ago, U.S. airmen reported seeing a “strange glowing object” near a British air base in the early morning of December 27, 1980. The detailed report is now being released as part of a U.K. declassification program. Before this week, while the information was widely spread by UFO researchers, the document itself had only been seen by about 20 people, who requested access to it through the U.S. Freedom of Information Act.

The U.S. North American Aerospace Defense Command scrambled fighter jets last week in an attempt to identify a contrail that was first seen near the Turks and Caicos Islands and later over the Midwestern United States. Reports on the contrail were first received around 4 p.m. Wednesday, according to Lt. Cmdr. Curtis Jenkins. Commercial airline pilots reported the contrail over Florida and then Indiana, but there were no more sightings after that.
