Arsenic in rice is bad enough–A US federal court jury recently awarded Wayne Watson over 7 million dollars in damages for developing a chronic condition known as "popcorn lung," after repeatedly inhaling the a chemical called diacetyl, which is used to give a "butter" flavor to microwave popcorn. The condition is an irreversible obstructive lung disease that makes it difficult for air to flow out of the lungs.

Nanofibers are have diameters that are less than 1000 nm nanometers wide. They’re found in athletic clothes and shoes, as well as rainwear, since they "wick" away sweat and water. They’re also found in napkins, cosmetics, and baby diapers, as well as air filters, which is an especial problem since inhaling these nanofibers can cause the lung disease mesothelioma, the same disease that is caused by inhaling asbestos fibers.
