Researchers have found that when choosing a partner, women believe the lower the man’s voice, the more likely he’s going to cheat. Men think the opposite: that a woman with a higher voice is more likely to be unfaithful. Participants in a recent study were asked to listen to two versions of recorded clips from a male voice and a female voice, which were electronically manipulated to be both higher and lower in pitch. They were then asked which one, from each pair, was more likely to cheat sexually on their romantic partner.

Road workers have discovered an ancient burial mound full of prehistoric treasures–in Indiana! When a bulldozer operator made off with some of it, he ended up in jail. When this prehistoric culture was discovered among the rolling hills of the state in the 19th century, it was called the "Hopewell Site," after the farmer who owned the 500 acres where artifacts were first found. The earth’s magnetic field normally reverses about every 500,000 years. The last reversal was 800,000 years ago, and now the north magnetic pole is moving at the rate of 40 miles per year. Does this mean that the magnetic field is reversing now? The British Geologic Survey says, "The South Atlantic Anomaly (SAA) is known to be growing in extent and spreading westwards from South Africa, as the Earth’s internal magnetic field rapidly weakens in this region.
