This is probably not a balloon, but what else could it be? Perhaps a Chinese inventor with a spectacular new personal flight system…or something very much stranger?

A UFO during a fireworks display?

At 2:14 a dark round object moves from left to right across this video of a dramatic fireworks display in Taiwan. It is present in all of the videos of the event that we’ve been sent. The object could be a balloon, but its trajectory suggests controlled movement, so it qualifies as an unknown.

Of course, these would be easy to create in the comuter, but it seems less likely that a hoaxer would go to such pains to make them appear to be blurred like this–or, for that matter, why they are blurred, given that the other objects in the frame are not. Distortion like this has been observed in other UFO photos.
