The bigfoot face that appears in this video was identified months ago as a Chewbacca mask, according to researcher Loren Coleman. A close look does indeed reveal a close resemblance. And the ‘dna study’ mentioned has also had a checkered history. So what are we to make of all this? Fools? Con-men? One thing is true: there is not a lot of cash to be made off bigfoot fakery, so that’s not the motive. Unless, of course, it’s NOT a Chewbacca mask…

There are fireballs coming down all over the world right now, but this story from the Yucatan goes far beyond the normal report of a flaming meteor speeding across the sky, and, frankly, your Out There editor is just plain puzzled, not to say flabbergasted. Note that the report includes mention of a sound that went on for hours, not to mention the ‘humanoid figure’ the police created when trying to put the broken up remains of the object back together. The verdict on this one: I have no idea.

A number of readers have sent us this video of UFOs allegedly shot over Wittenberg, German on September 18. This does not appear to be a video shot using night vision equipment. The simple reason is that the background is too dark. Night vision systems gather all light, not just the light that happens to be emanating from an object. This shows every sign of being an animation. Most likely verdict: just another UFO trickster trolling for clickthroughs and making a little cash out of YouTube advertising. Tired, old, dreary. (If I’m wrong and somebody can prove it, I have a hat and am ready to eat.)

There have been rumors floating around among UFO investigators for some time that there is some new Roswell evidence. Unknowncountry has confirmed that the substance of the report in the blog linked here is correct, with one exception: CNN has not been contacted about this material. There is reason to hope that this new evidence will provide strong corroboration of the claims made by other Roswell witnesses, and will finally reveal the actual appearance of the bodies that were recovered from the crash.
