Last December, Out There published the first half of a strong minidocumentary on the Turkish UFO incidents of 2009, which remain among the most powerful and unusual UFO cases ever to occur. The creator of the film has now finished part two, and it’s just as strong. It includes Dr. Roger Leir describing his own firsthand account. Dr. Leir was present during part of the May, 2009 event. This video is almost certainly authentic. It shows a disk appearing, then a series of events that appear to involve some sort of electrical plasma over a swimming pool. It’s taken with a surveillance camera. Your Out There editor considers this one of the most unusual UFO videos ever recorded. If it isn’t a hoax, and nothing would surprise me, then we are looking at an event involving very advanced technology.

This one was interesting enough for us to call on our experts. The video really starts to become clear 3 minutes in, and remains clear off and on through 7 minutes. Here is an expert opinion:

Looks and sounds pretty good. Seems to be an actual object, though it could easily have been one of those LED-equipped quadcopters — its impossible to tell shape, size or distance in this video.

Misc. observations:

LaPrairie is a southeastern suburb of Montreal, so if the object were seen in the direction of the sunset, and at any significant distance from the camera, it would have been seen by many others. So far I can’t find any other videos of this quite persistent sighting.

"I was changing a CD as I was driving and when I looked up I saw what looked like a car without its lights on, stopped in the middle of the road outside Shantytown. I slammed on my brakes and my eyes were still trying to focus, when suddenly the thing just lit up and shot into the sky." The witness adds that other drivers must have seen it, but so far no reports. Was this a UFO or a secret aircraft? Because he also states that it became extremely bright as it rose, your Out There editor votes for something from the unknown.
