A slow and deliberate process of disclosure has been under way for about 10 years, and may take another step forward in March of 2016. In both the United States and the United Kingdom, it has for some years been illegal to keep a substantial amount of UFO information hidden, that is nevertheless still held secret.

There are three reasons that this has been done: first, the information is provocative without being clear; second, it implies that something that we do not understand is affecting us, and there is an intelligent locomotion behind it; third, our scientific and intellectual communities are not adequately prepared to address it.

I have been reading The Fairy Tradition in Britain by Lewis Spence at the same time that the Roswell Slides drama has been unfolding. I don’t find it surprising that the assumption that any nonhuman remains or artifacts would be indications that aliens from another plant must be here is so universal. But I certainly don’t agree with it. (This does NOT mean that I therefore think that they are not that. I feel that the question isn’t closed.)

The Roswell Slides may be images of the mummy of a two year old human child, according to the placard beside the body, that researchers involved said during, before and after the presentation could not be deciphered. As our news story reveals, it was indeed possible to decipher it–assuming that the work done on it is not itself a hoax.

The image may be genuine, but at the same time, critical analysis of the placard apparently was not done.
