Over the past year, UFO activity has increased in intensity and complexity, and the crop circle phenomenon has become so extensive in southern England that it is beginning to cause significant cash damage to crops.

Recently, I have begun to notice stirrings among some institutions that would suggest a renewed interest in the possibility of contact. Over the past six months, a number of people with interest in UFOs have announced that “disclosure is imminent.”

So there’s some smoke. Is there any fire?

It is Christmas eve, and I’m enjoying the deep peace of an evening with my family, and I am thinking about this beautiful season and the hope that it brings, and also about people celebrating the season around the world under very different circumstances.

These are the Christian communities in peril in places like southern Sudan, Iraq, Iran, Turkey and too many other places in the world. Almost universally, these communities are threatened by Islam, and as that religion drifts more and more into extremism, the danger to the Christians living among them grows.

Recently, the disclosure community, such as it is, has been beating the drums about official announcements of a UFO presence on this or that imminent date. November 14, November 27, December 10–all were claimed as the big date when the President of the United States would go before the world and announce that aliens are indeed among us and the U.S. has extensive relations with them and has had for years.

Now, I have to be honest with you. I was not on tenterhooks about any of these dates. Maybe there will be some sort of official U.S. announcement concerning this matter one of these days, but I doubt that it will take anything like the dramatic form imagined by the disclosure believers.

I have gone on record as saying that I doubt that anything particularly noteworthy will happen on December 21, 2012. However, this does not mean that I don’t think we are in an era of great change that is going to impact life on earth profoundly. We are in such an era, and the changes are not simply of our own making.

At the Dreamland Stargate, I gave a presentation that is now available as an audio file in Unknowncountry.com’s subcriber section in which I outlined some of the most amazing changes that I have discovered.

Something has been happening recently that exemplifies what I talk about in that presentation. In this case, asteroids have begun passing earth at close range and, in one case so far, entering our atmosphere and exploding.
