Our world is not going to remain as it is now for very long. Sudden climate change is already in its early stages, and could accelerate dramatically at any time. Even more astounding, scientists are concerned that the earth?s magnetic poles have begun to shift.

Last week the Superstorm Quickwatch on this website went from moderate probability, where it has remained since its inception in early 2000, to high probability. This means, essentially, that sudden climate change is already under way, and we could see dramatic climate upheavals at almost any time, with the most likely times being fall and spring, when the differences between temperate zone and arctic temperatures are highest.

Taken was one of the most popular programs ever aired on the Science Fiction channel. It depicted an attempt at alien contact that failed due to a wrong-headed and violent human response. In the end, the beautiful young girl who was part human and part alien had to return to the alien world because we were just not capable of handling a relationship with her.

This was primarily due to the activities of a violent, vicious and power hungry government group, who sought control over the situation and, most especially, the little girl. They were depicted as people to whom the lives of other human beings meant little, who were willing to murder in pursuit of their sick agenda.

Art called me about a month ago to tell me that Premiere was using the occasion of his retirement to cancel Dreamland. This did not surprise me. When their parent company, Clear Channel, bought the Matt Drudge program, they were planning to cancel Dreamland. It was only the intervention of Art Bell and his partner Alan Corbeth that prevented this.

Instead, Clear Channel moved Dreamland to Saturday night. This was done with virtually no notice to stations. As a result, Dreamland lost about fifty stations and for a time the schedule was in chaos. But the efforts of Alan Corbeth’s staff in the Medford, Oregon office got the situation fixed. However, Premiere never gave the program any affiliate support and made no effort to sell advertising on it.
