Legendary UFO expert Robert Powell joins Whitley for a deep dive into the heart of the phenomenon. What do we know and what don’t we know, and do the insiders really know what they’re doing. In this hard-hitting discussion Robert, a member of the board of the Scientific Coalition for UFO Studies shines a light on the darkest parts of the coverup and lays out what we actually DO know about the amazing objects that are racing around in our skies.

Same here , Been waiting all day
There was a delay in posting caused by an error which we have corrected. Everything should be running normally now.
Great show Whitley.
I am hoping there will be a show with a commentary from you of the recent Contact In The Desert conference and your presentation there.
Whitley is wonderful as always. I’ve never heard of the guest. He certainly cannot explain computer data and programming topics well. Whitley is informational as only he can be.
I was surprised that Powell brought up the idea of abductions possibly being in the abductee’s mind as if he had thought of it himself and no one else had. Surely he knows that’s not the case?
(I’d never heard of him either, for whatever that’s worth.)
I’ve wondered if screen memories mask the actual reality of events myself for years. The problem with this area is that we can so quickly fall down the rabbit hole that it often shuts down questioning for a multitude of reasons, most of them overwhelming.
Years ago, I was driving along the M1 motorway here in the UK. I was very tired and needed to sleep. Suddenly, in an instant of startling clarity, the road surface just ahead of me disappeared and I saw a grid-like structure beneath it, very reminiscent of the film Tron from back in the day. It was as if the concrete vanished and I saw some kind of huge structure beneath it all. This lasted less than a second then back to normal concrete road surface.
It was as if our everyday reality dropped its facade for a split second, allowing me to gaze into the surrounding world. I’ve always wondered about this but have refused to jump to conclusions, rather I prefer to keep it in question (to quote Mrs Strieber with profound gratitude).
Additionally, it has also occurred to me that it could have been projected into my mind. Who knows? Some months later I was driving on the same motorway and was exhausted. For a split second I noticed a Woman sitting in the passenger seat next to me but she was wearing a special type of armour. She was staring straight ahead, concentrating very very hard. I won’t say what the armour looked like in order to help me discern accounts from others who may report the same thing. So, what was that??
Continuing to ask questions has, I believe, allowed me to continue moving forward, albeit slowly, (ohhh sooo slowly..), and, in time, my viewpoints have continued to change and hopefully evolve. I hope my take on what may be possible is of some interest. It’s just one person’s perspective but it is sincere.
Peace.
Von Hausenberg, that happened to me once years ago. For a couple of moments, I saw the ‘grid’, and even my hand appeared as part of the grid.It was so weird…
This is exactly why we all know that our shared experiences are both so valuable and so redemptive. On the one hand we feel ‘it might be me’ yet on the other hand it’s clearly not just you.
Peace to you Cosmic and may the grace and protection of the Goddess emanate within you and yours.
Blessed Solstice and Blessed Be!

Bees are making a nest in the front of my home and I considered getting some spray to block the hole etc. No.. let them be..
I said out loud that I will not interfere but ‘Keep out of my own living space and we’ll all be fine.’ I reckon it will be. All you need to do it speak to them. Someone WILL hear you.
Peace.
Oh my goodness!
I do think we most likely live in a simulation– created by us and our own brains and senses out of whatever “really” exists– but never would have thought there was a grid to perceive underneath!
You know what this must be– remember what the holodeck on a Starfleet ship looks like when it’s turned off?
…were you in the same place on the M1 when both of these events occured?
And any other analogous events or perceptions at other times while very tired? Fatigue could be allowing some sort of bleed-throughs from other levels of reality, perhaps.
Of course I’d be remiss if I didn’t add that fatigue could be causing a waking dream of some sort, but it sounds like that might not fit.
Your car experiences remind me of the classic cases, where drivers are convinced someone has stepped out into the path of their vehicle. On stopping, no-one can be found. Or cases where drivers have picked up someone, seemingly hitchhiking, only to look over after a while and they are gone.
I have heard these experiences correlate with overhead electricity lines, with the suggestion that eminating electromagnetic fields can indirectly affect the brain of those in the car, causing their perception of reality to be affect…the suggestion being one of ‘hallucination’. Personally I don’t think I subscribe to that idea…but what if those eminating fields were capable of directly meddling with reality, or ‘thinning the veil’, so to speak?…so the car occupants are still seeing reality, but a different, rarely seen part of it.
A frank and absorbing discussion that sets the scene perfectly for a day of research and consideration.
I’d be especially interested to hear whether one of the individuals involved with Mr Strieber’s implant placement had a beard? Equally, their clothing? Were they wearing black and grey uniforms or thereabouts?
Peace.
Am I remembering correctly that Whitley said Konstantin Raudive had something to do with designing his implant, from beyond the grave? I came upon an after-death recording of Raudive the other day, on an inactive but preserved classic website, and got to wondering about this. Raudive has been extremely active in trying to enhance communication between the worlds, to the best of my knowledge. I wouldn’t put this past him.
He could conceivably have designed the implant and given the information about how to make it to someone living on the physical plane– or someone who doesn’t quite exactly live here but sort of does….
I’m going to ask a friend who is a prominent worker in the ITC area and see if she ever has contact with Raudive.

With all due respect; what kind of “scientist” is the guest suppose to be? What field of “science”? What degrees does he have and from where and when? (not that it really matters or means anything, just curious) He obviously cannot explain computer programming concepts.
Are these fair questions with a healthy open minded curiosity?
Just curious.
These seem like reasonable questions to me. Guests on Dreamland are presented as experts, so why should we not ask about their expertise? Curiosity means asking questions, not just accepting what we are told.

VH, really? “healthy”? You’re very funny.
Thanks SherbertUFO
A BS in Chemistry, cool, yes, it obviously wasn’t computer science and programming languages (not that it matters, people can be autodidactic)

And it’s Sherbet, not Sherbert…😁
😁
…so when talking about patents based on the recovered technology, Whitley are you saying they’ve claimed to have ‘created’ these items? Well, that really is a massive fraud! No wonder all this is being kept secret…damn, it’s all about the money…alas…I never considered the greed aspect of it all.
I keep thinking of Diana Pasulka’s writings about Tyler D and the many inventions that he’s supposed to have made due to influence from the Visitors, that he’s supposed to have made $$$$ off of, and that he can’t tell us about. She seems to be supporting this idea that there are secret uses of the Visitor technology. But it’s all so vague and hard to pin down.
…here’s another, Whitley…manipulating atoms and you’re playing with conscious reality, no? …some say atoms form potential factual items…until observed, the potential isn’t realized.
…whew…great interview, great subject!!
What great talk! All the things I wanted to hear addressed was there. And I was familiar with all of it…Thank you!
I first read Hynek’s ‘The UFO EXPERIENCE ‘when it was first published when I was in college, and it’s still on my shelf. I was so glad Powell referenced this scientific classic on the topic.
So much more that I could go into, but👍…
I found the discussion around funding in the UAP space interesting and I think the data contained in the Communion letters could be very valuable.
Whitley – Do you have a non-profit associated with Unknown Country for folks to make tax deductible contributions? It’s much easier for foundations to fund 501C3’s than individuals/companies. Has anyone done any work towards scoping out an actual project plan? That might be an good first step that could be funded. Once a plan is developed, more interest will likely follow.
Although I’m not convinced that NLP techniques are particularly useful in shaping thought and behaviour, analysing the text of the many thousands of ‘Communion letters’, using the reverse technique, might yield interesting insights and correlations.
Saying that, how does one quantify the ‘strangness’ of a story by counting supposedly significant weighted words? I seem to remember Anne suggesting that in her opinion, the real experiences tended to be the strangest. I am yet to be totally convinced that even a highly capable Large Language Model AI could get anywhere close to the intuative knowing of someone like her, in assessing the veracity of reports.
We might have to wait for the so-called ‘singularity’ for that!
Obviously the first place to start is getting the letters scanned, which I am sure Rice University has made a start at…but even at a conservative one minute per letter, that would take the best part of a year, working day and night without break to get 500,000 of them done…quite the task.
Thank you Whitley and staff for your hard work maintaining this site, I’ve finally been able to subscribed and grateful for your efforts and the great information! Please keep up the the work!
I have also seen the “grid”. I saw it many times when I was younger in the sky. I again saw it about 8 yrs ago in the ocean. I randomly met a young man a couple years ago who mentioned him and a friend seeing a grid in the sky on a camping trip. He was shocked when I told him I knew what he was talking about, as I had seen it too. I just finished a book called, A Scientist’s own Alien Abduction Encounters, by Bruce Rapuano PH.D. It is very technical in describing brain function and how implants may work. Also gravitational propulsion. I recommend reading.
