Attorney James Lough opens up about some of the most revealing contact experiences on record. In this great discussion, James and Whitley riff on the close encounter experience, what it does to the mind and heart–and to the body–and what it may mean. Late in the show, Whitley talks about a morning in Paris in the 1990s when two men claiming to be from French intelligence demonstrated how the missing time phenomenon is induced–an unexpected bonus, for sure! And there’s MORE: Jim has used his extensive legal expertise to create a blueprint for congressional action called the UFO Briefing Book. It lays out what congress needs to do to finally compel the Administration to tell us the truth about UFOs and aliens! WE URGE YOU TO WRITE YOUR REPRESENTATIVES ABOUT THIS!

Get Jim Lough’s book, The UFO Briefing Book and consider sending it to your congressman and senators. Click here to place your order.

  1. Very glad the site is back up! I hope the problems haven’t been too horrible.

  2. As much as I would like to see validation on ‘UFOs’, I am not convinced that Americans (Let alone the world) could handle that level of ontological shock. Some of us could, no doubt, but the vast majority, no. I base this on what I see coming through news feeds every single day and my own interactions with others most of my life. So many can’t deal with information on everyday things and take the time to really study and learn more, other than what others tell them to believe. ( Friends, family, politicians, governments, religion, what-have-you). Fact-finding is not in most people’s genetic code, apparently. In the USA, I see an astounding amount of ignorance among a people who should be better educated and informed. We’ve had a huge controversy recently that is hurting a town in Ohio right now because of misinformation and out and out lies for political gain…And that’s minor compared to telling Americans the facts about a much more complex issue, disclosure that we really aren’t alone in the Universe. Personally, I want the truth, and to be a part of that truth, wherever it leads.

…And…our government, as well as others, have lied to us about so many things, should we trust them with what they tell us about this? I don’t, in light of various agendas, vendettas, and political points of view. While Elizondo was forthcoming about ‘UFO’ information, the redactions in his book were a puzzle. They served no purpose other than to tell Americans, that there is more that can’t be told, which we already know.

The question of hybrids is an interesting one. Do all hybrids know that they are hybrids? I’m not so sure. Some would know, but others may be people who’ve always been different and with extraordinary gifts, without knowing why. If we have been watched and manipulated for thousands, maybe millions of years…? I would say that interviewing someone who admits to being a hybrid means even more secrecy in order to protect them. No names, no visual, and possible voice changes?

I’ve contacted my senators and congressman at various times about important issues and gotten no traction. I’d have to really think about spending funds on a book that will be turned over to an aide to read, who may not read it, although I probably will read it.

    1. I, too, was thinking about the Ohio incident and the utter balderdash that so many Americans are willing to swallow. And the harm they do because of it. It’s hard to imagine those people “handling the truth” to the extent that would be needed. Or I should say, WILL be needed.

So I have to wonder if maybe it’s for the best that some things are kept secret. Since we don’t know for sure what those things are, it’s hard to judge.

Lue Elizondo mentioned some legislators who have been part of the effort to push for disclosure and Congressional oversight, and my senator Martin Heinrich was among them (though Lue mistakenly listed him as being from AZ instead of NM). He’s got a serious challenger for his seat this year, which is a new thing, and I sure hope we can keep him.

Whitley mentioned the late, great Rep. Steve Schiff as well. Schiff represented my district (Albuquerque and surroundings) and was a sincere and sensible person. I was not surprised when he got stonewalled on Roswell just like everyone else– but that was my first inkling that members of Congress were being kept in the dark along with the rest of us.

It can take repeated pushes, and of course it depends on the individual legislator, but I have gotten traction at times with our NM congresscritters. They need to hear from us one way or another, and when they are putting themselves out there with this issue that is so intractable and can still get them laughed at, I’m sure it helps to know that constituents have their backs.

So a fair number of members of Congress are already on the case, as we already knew, but bashing their heads against the brick wall of the military-industrial complex. I wonder if having more of them involved, maybe even a majority of them, could finally break through.

One of the many things that Lue’s book drove home to me was how incredibly much effort was involved in bringing us the Tic-Tac video and all the rest, effort over so many years and by so many highly-placed individuals. It was astonishing, for example, what it took to get in touch with Gen. Mattis about these matters, EVEN THOUGH HE ALREADY KNEW HIM. The chain of command chains people in a very real sense.

If there’s any human thing the Visitors can’t breach or conquer, it may be bureaucracy!

The Nimitz event was 20 freaking years ago, and realizing that, it seems like we’ve gotten nowhere. But really, we’ve come so far– from where Rep. Schiff was still being fed the line about weather balloons, to where we are openly speaking of bodies and reverse engineering by defense contractors. There has been a true sea (and air and space) change.

      1. Elene…I agree. I was in public health for 10 years, and a lot of it spent informing people about misinformation and disinformation on various health issues and prevention. (Prevent, promote, protect was our motto. I was extremely grateful that I retired a few years before COVID came along.)

At this point, disclosure is being rolled out slowly, probably with hopes that most people won’t realize that’s what it is. The bill passed at the end of last year allows the executive branch to take up to 25 years from a file creation to make it public, and even then presidents can decide about it remaining classified or not. So ample time for buck-passing to a new administration, that can eventually decide that the information remains classified.

All that, and expecting the public (world-wide) to handle it rationally? I wish I had confidence in that. The good news is that another intelligence official, Jay Stratton, former director of the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force, is writing a book that may reveal more information. So…it may get even more interesting and, of course, we are in the middle of a presidential election that could alter things too.

        1. I spent some time this weekend considering the timeline for “disclosure.”
Lou’s book is very weird. It’s nuts and bolts… but it isn’t. And it certainly includes abductions, orbs, remote viewing, all kinds of stuff.
All kinds of stuff that is barely in the public’s consciousness… and certainly wasn’t in the 50s all the way up to the turn of the century.
It’s taken 50 years for us to begin to wrap our collective heads around even the outline of what might be there. So I’m not surprised disclosure is being tightly managed and controlled… and that’s before we even consider the legal or financial ramifications.
If the visitor’s tech/existence is directly tied into something like the quantum field, which also is tied into the afterlife, psychic phenomena, religious phenomena… then disclosure would mean blowing the doors off of what we consider reality to be.
Which is pretty much the definition of ontological shock.

        2. Lue wrote quite a bit about his association with Jay Stratton in “Imminent.” It will be fascinating to hear about all this from Jay’s perspective.

The article you linked to mentioned that “Imminent” is at the top of the bestseller list. So at least a great many people will be exposed to these ideas, and that may help.

A lot of us here have already had the doors blown off of our reality, though much of the time we may be desperately trying to pull the doors closed again! As Glenn pointed out, large majorities of Americans already are open to the idea of contact with other intelligences, and there are plenty of people who are aware of the afterlife and psychic phenomena, so maybe we only need a small push to become more aware of the big picture?

    2. i keep hearing about this ontological shock as being a ‘bad’ thing, but I’m more of the school of thought that it can be a good thing. I know from many clients throughout the years who were/are finally able to let go of holding the illusion of a lie as if it were truth. It’s a shock for sure when faced with a different set of facts, but it’s followed by a sense of profound relief and emotional freedom. Polls say 80% of Americans believe we are not alone in the Universe. The Catholic church has flat out said we are not alone. Yet society lives the lie that we are alone, top dog on the food chain, when we secretly believe it’s not so.My bet is there will be a profound sense of relief once the initial knee jerk reaction has run its course.

      1. Very good point.

It’s always better to know than to wonder and be kept on tenterhooks, even if the news is not good.

  3. An excerpt from “The Communion Letters” (page 70 of 308)…

    https://archive.org/details/communionletters0000unse/page/70/mode/1up?q=boomerang

    Page 70
“…removed a metal probe and came over to my body; the other took a boomerang-shaped translucent object and moved it in a semicircular motion around my head. My scalp was simply laid open and moved over my head, and the other person took tweezers and began implanting what appeared like rubies and sapphires into various portions of my exposed brain. When this was done, the scalp was simply replaced and the boomerang- shaped object again moved over the “wound” and the job, whatever it was, was done. These two little fellows walked to the doorway and just a moment faced each other, bowed and departed, as if having said, “Mission accomplished.”…”.

  4. So what are the predictions in the Key that turned out to be correct? The worsening problem with the global climate certainly should be in the list.

  5. Mr. Lough’s efforts are to be applauded.

He and Whitley speak of the military’s next excuse for not coming clean: childhood trauma. Will they run out of yarns to spin? Their involvement in dealing with the vast volumes of reports and testimonials seems like it can go one of two ways. Either they come clean, or they “find” that all of this UFO hullabaloo was a function of traumatized kids growing up to see weather balloons. Same boss. Different job.

For me, if new information (books, government reports, etc.) doesn’t involve ways for us to INDIVIDUALLY recognize the enormity of the UAP reality, then I tend to to tune it out. Maybe that’s my loss, and it probably is, but I see the same old tropes and suppositions over and over again. Nearly always leading to the same results.

Government acknowledgment would be gratifying, but I don’t know what that gets us. More transparency seems unlikely. But if more UAP/abduction information is indeed made public, then it will be pitched as just another “enemy” to weaponize against those who are so easily bamboozled.

    Meditate. Do the work.

  6. Regardless of external pressure, I would trust the DoD, Industrial contractors and Legacy project participants to loosen their grip on secrecy, about as much as I would Tom Cruise to spill the beans on the ‘Church’ of you-know-what.

  7. Am unable to download either high/low bandwidth program. Anyone else having this issue? When I select “save link as” nothing happens. I am using Firefox latest version, and had no problem in the past. Thx.

    1. I’m not sure if it’s related, but I still don’t see this show in my Apple Podcasts subscriber feed. Hopefully soon!

The site has been under attack lately, meaning that the autopost timings are out of whack. Plus, our webmaster has disappeared. Hopefully, all will be resolved soon. I am certainly working on it.

        1. Whitley, I’ve gotten notifications from my hosting server that they are again upgrading the security protocols on my website. Since you host unknowncountry.com on wordpress, be sure that you’ve followed the security protocol updates. If you haven’t, that’s what could be causing the problems. Old protocols eat up bandwidth, which slows down your site and makes you vulnerable to malware. If you’ve done all the updates, then just know I’ve got your best interests at heart and excuse my blathering. 🤓🥴

Everything is up to date. We appear to be experiencing a cyberattack.

      2. Author

It is related. The site is so slow that new RSS feeds to podcast apps are timing out.

    2. Author

The site is under attack and also experiencing extremely high traffic. I am sorry for these annoyances.

      1. No apologies needed Whitley! I’m in IT and spent my last summer helping my company recover from a devastating cyber attack.

I totally get it. It’s maddening what these folks can do – and what they’re allowed to do.

A ton of this stuff is state sponsored or state driven directly.

      2. Interesting – I unsubscribed to my subscriber feed and attempted to re-subscribe via url… get no response in Apple Podcasts.
Viewing the feed in the browser works, as does viewing the feed in an RSS reader. The last podcast posted there is the Sept 7th show however. Interesting…
At any rate, the subscriber feed does not appear to work from Apple Podcasts.
Happy to help test this for you Whitley if desired.

      3. Glad to hear there’s a lot of traffic, anyway, and hoping this translates to more subscribers as well.

I’ll ask Greg Bishop. I can’t find it online either.

      1. On another podcast I believed he mentioned there’s an email address you have to order it from. I also don’t think the deck is fully complete – just the major arcana, I think.

  8. Random testimonial: I just read Whitley’s book ALIEN HUNTER. Naturally, I’d read “Communion” years ago, but I hadn’t read his fiction because they were listed as thrillers and that’s generally not my genre.

I had no idea he was such a strong storyteller until I read “Alien Hunter”. He hooked me early on and kept me engaged all the way through to a very satisfying end. If you like fiction and feel like combining it with your interest in aliens, go check it out. I got it on Kindle.

    End of random testimonial. 🤓
