Legendary Kennedy researcher Mark Shaw explores the fundamental abuse of power that defines the connection between the Mafia and hidden forces within the government. He offers explosive new information about the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy and Senator Robert F. Kennedy, including the hidden role of Mafia boss Carlos Marcello and the real assassin of RFK. He details his discovery of a confession by Marcello that he was behind the killing of RFK, and probably JFK as well. He calls for transparency in these historical cases and also in the Jeffrey Epstein case, which is, as this show is being aired, in the process of being sanitized by the Department of Justice just as the Kennedy files were a few years ago. WHEN WILL IT END??

No David Ferrie connection or Clay Shaw with JFK? The warren commission didn’t want to out a mafia guy? I didn’t read the book, maybe this stuff is discussed. The weirdness around Oswald and the Dulles connection wasn’t disucseed either? No Bay of Pigs connection?
Mark Shaw is just dynamite and every time I hear him in an interview I find myself spellbound by his instinctive connection to the story or truth that he’s chasing.
His work on Dorothy Kilgallen and the murder of Marilyn Monroe was and is just world class investigative journalism at it’s very best.
Fantastic interview. 10/10. Bravo! Thank you for getting Mark to come on Dreamland.
Although more details are coming out about the Kennedy assassinations, I’ve kept up with much of it for a long time, including the information about Dorothy Kilgallen. It’s all rather ‘unreal’ at times. I’m old enough to remember both murders very well. Sometimes an excellent memory is a curse. The Mafia for sure is involved. They have not gone away, and the inclusion of Putin and Russia is NO surprise.
Not discussed was our current president’s connections to Roy Cohn and Roger Stone, and by extension, organized crime. (Russia, too) I actually began paying attention to our current president in the 80’s, and was appalled at some of the things he was doing ,his ‘connections’ and how he treated people, how he got away with everything…and how ‘admired’ he was. It was sickening, and yet many Americans got amnesia, thought ‘The Apprentice’ was great, were too young to be aware of his past, and voted for him anyway. It’s more than just politics, it’s really creepy, especially in light of events in the last week.
From 2016…
What Were Donald Trump’s Ties to the Mob?:

“The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.” Thomas Jefferson
Yup.
Yes, it was a good interview… and, at it’s core was simple corruption and greed. Of course Trump is heavily involved in all of this. The USA is going the way of Mexico… Authority, trust in authority and rule of law is being undermined, eroded and fear rules. The promise of freedom to pursue a life based on self-actualization is gone. There has been some “news” about “back room deals” going on in Washington, DC regarding how much money is being exchanged for favors… like drug lords being pardoned by the Trump administration, among other deals. It has always been sickening to see our/my taxes being spent on more weaponry… and it’s trillions in North America, just for the war machine and justified over and over because we are all trapped in this vicious cycle of hatred of the “other”. Lies and corruption rule, and the truth gets buried. Disclosure is just another secret encased in the whole scheme… how much money has a government spent on “black ops” to develop more ammo? Not to mention the $$$ spent to keep tabs on anyone who might need to be “managed” by a CIA/FBI/NSA agent. It is all absolutely distasteful. Hate campaigns and public belittlement has ruined so many lives.
Looking back at history, I wonder how many other societies were laid to waste by corruption, greed and the rise of fascism, just like what’s happening now…

Seems to me that everyone at the top in politics is controlled by their control file. You don’t get on in politics without one.
People continually misunderstand democracy and choose to ignore the fact of life that democracy is theatre, illusion, mind control, nothing else.
In pure democracy people would just vote for free money and no work would get done. There are exigencies in politics that require compromises of the truth unfortunately.
Look at 911 and the rush to ‘defend America’. How many women and children died in the Middle East & Afghanistan thanks to lies? Well over 900,000 civilians for sure. That’s genocide, however you look at it.
My take on corruption is that it’s an uncomfortable fact of life and the hidden hand is always in the sidelines, watching, steering the herd.
Personally, I find politics fascinating if not entertaining. The same old lies and posturing has been going on for thousands of years. Always has and always will so why get hot and bothered about it? Just find something else to occupy one’s mind, it’s much healthier.
Human nature means the scum rises to the top and that’s a fair analogy.
Unfortunately, I have to agree with you, Von Hausenberg! This stuff has been happening for all the centuries of human and non-human occupation of our dear planet Earth! According to ancient lore, we have not reached the end of This civilization yet, but we are very close… I wonder what all of our studying/research /knowledge reveals about the forecast or modeling on this issue and all of the other related issues…
Well, for whatever it’s worth, here is some forecasting from a decade ago that honestly seems to be pretty relevant.

If we look at all this as a matter of recurring patterns that are just how the universe works, it’s kind of heartening– it says it’s not just our own idiocy that makes things so awful. And that history will cycle to a better place again, sure as the change of seasons.
It saddens me that there is so much cynicism around here, though. Acceptance and stoicism can be useful but cynicism can be poisonous. It makes us give up and it destroys empathy and kindness.
I emailed Amy today about my subscription renewal, and got a confirmation back, which is all good. I sent the email to subscribers@unknowncountry.com. I still haven’t been able to access or log onto the site. If anyone knows what further actions I should or could take, please let me know, and thank-you!
If you are definitely not getting a response from a real person on the usual support email, try Nikki on

or failing that you may have to email Whitley directly on

Re: JFK–
Whenever I read about his murder, and I’ve read quite a lot, I am reminded of “Murder on the Orient Express.” I mean, SO MANY factions wanted to get rid of one or both of the Kennedy brothers. Someone was going to get it done one way or another.
As was mentioned here, it’s difficult to separate the tangles of the mob, the CIA, etc. I don’t think we’re ever going to understand everything and everyone that was involved. I didn’t have a very thorough sense of the organized crime part of it and I appreciate what was explained in this interview. It’s all plausible.
It strikes me that even for those who believe Oswald acted alone (yeah, right!), there is an awful lot to explain about Oswald himself. So, so many mysterious connections. I don’t know how they can explain away all that.
I know pretty much nothing about the RFK assassination, but I remember the darkness that descended all around the adults in my life at that time. I was only 8, but I had the sense that after RFK and MLK were killed, hope went out of the world. A few years later, there was Watergate, and I don’t think the country has ever regained the hope and sense of brighter possibilities coming that we had for a while in the ’60s. All these assassinations left a deep wound from which we have not recovered, and the pall of uncertainty and destruction of trust still hangs over the country.
