For the first time in the history of the species, people in the developed world spend most of our lives not grounded to the earth. Clint Ober says this is a major health problem, and shows how to fix it. He claims that the earth itself is a natural source of healing energy, and that we need to reconnect with it in order to experience real health.
Is Earthing necessary? How can you do it?
Throughout time, we humans have strolled, sat, stood, and slept on the ground—the skin of our bodies touching the skin of the Earth—oblivious to the fact that such physical contact transfers natural electrical energy to the body.
Modern lifestyle has disconnected us from the Earth’s energy, making us more vulnerable to stress and illness.
Earthing is the discovery that this energy upholds the electrical stability of our bodies.
Is Earthing necessary? How can you do it? Listen as Clint Ober explains.

I was very intrigued
I was very intrigued listening to this show today. Of course I’d like to try some personal experiments with this, but I wonder about what I think was an obvious question to ask but wasn’t asked. What about bathing? In the U.S. I believe drains and pipes are all connected to earth ground, so it stands to reason that bathwater and shower water are all conductive connections back to ground. I know I usually feel revitalized by a shower, and the earthing thing might have something to do with it I’d never thought about. I thought of this also in connection to my experience scuba diving, where the ocean always seems healing in some way (I had assumed it was the salt water.)
So perhaps a good, daily half hour soak in the tub, maybe especially with bathing salts, would be a great way to ground ourselves? It seems like an easy way for people to try “earthing” without spending any money. Any chance you can ask the author and get back to us? I did not see any reference to bathing on his website, except that he noted that cold water pipes are grounded.
i agree with you BobinNJ. i
i agree with you BobinNJ. i love soaking in a warm bath with bath salts and other additives. not only is it grounding, it is also healing and gives you a good “sweat”. any time you touch Mother Earth in a sacred manner you are grounded. thanks to you whitley for bringing this information to a wider audience and to you clint ober for your research and time spent to produce the information.

Barbara hand Clow and her husband Gerry teach the 9 dimensions meditations. In the CD there is one track for each dimension. The first dimension is about visualizing the light entering your crown chakra and going down your spine, legs and feet, penetrating the earth and anchoring into the iron core crystal at the center of Earth. Everytime I need to ground I do this exercise ( it takes no more than 5 minutes and the effects are extraordinary.)

Having just risen, after a few glasses of wine too many last night, I stood beneath the tree near my bedroom window and sensed the electric, silent emanation of living essence around me. I feel as if my body is pure electricity, feeding information to and fro within the effervescent bubble of my existence and human identity.
This show makes perfect sense. I feel alive. As the old, comforting, Wood Pidgeon sits on her branch and coos, I feel the same essence of ‘now’ as I did as a young boy listening to the same sound back home. Nothing really changes, does it, eh? This magic and descriptions of it, should be so schmaltzy but somehow they remain effortlessly free, as they glide above us on lofty solar winds.
Today will be a good day, I see it.
A phrase from Elizabeth
A phrase from Elizabeth Barret Browning that I never forget and take to heart…
Earth’s crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God:
But only he who sees, takes off his shoes…
I’m getting a message about
I’m getting a message about needing an audio codec? both high and low bandwidth…
Lisa, I have also gotten a
Lisa, I have also gotten a couple of emails about this. I have reloaded both files. They both have exactly the same audio codecs that we always use, and are working normally on our test computers. If you still have a problem, can you write whitley@strieber.com and let us know what operating system, audio player and firewall you are using. Also, if you are in Windows, check to be sure that you don’t have Windows firewall and an aftermarket firewall running at the same time.
Lisa I have this trouble on
Lisa I have this trouble on the subscriber side only. Dreamland worked for me. You are now the 6th person with this problem stating this. I don’t how many other e-mails Al has gotten. Something is wrong. I got it to work finally, but had to switch to Real Player. It won’t work for me on Windows no matter if the Firewall is on or off. I had Windows firewall off and Norton’s on. Good luck.
I am having the same problem
I am having the same problem with the ‘Earthing, MS and Whitley Strieber’s Experience with the Process’. I keep getting the message about needing an audio codec & I have downloaded it both ways several times now. The Dreamland is ok, it plays perfectly, but not the subscriber one. I have had this same problem with 5 or 6 others in the past, a couple of them I REALLY wanted to hear, but could not. I loved the Dreamland one.
I doubt if bathing in city water would have the same effect as a spring fed stream, but some might feel a little something. I LOVE my well water!!!
I’ve had some issues with
I’ve had some issues with some audio files, also. Same “codec missing” message. Although I have a sufficiently high-speed DSL, and experience very little problems with either audio or video elsewhere, I have been able to play these files by choosing the “Download low- bandwdith” option, as opposed to the just plain “Download MP3” option. Try it, it might work for you. And, the lower bandwidth option is certainly not an issue when playing the audio.
