The woman at the heart of Intruders returns—and her story is more powerful than ever.
This week on Dreamland, Deb Jordan Kauble joins us for an intimate and revelatory conversation about the extraordinary encounters that shaped her life and helped define one of the most influential contact cases in modern history. Long before the hybrid narrative entered the UFO lexicon, Deb lived through experiences that Budd Hopkins would document in Intruders—encounters involving strange beings, impossible children, and an emotional dimension that no simple theory can contain.
Now, decades later, Deb brings her own voice, her own understanding, and her own extraordinary clarity to the story. We explore the deep human side of these encounters: the maternal connection, the sense of unfinished relationship, the lingering mystery, and the profound questions of identity and purpose that followed. This is not a retelling—it is a reframing, an expansion, and in many ways, a revelation.
What did the beings want? Why was Deb chosen? What is the true nature of the children she met—and what do her experiences say about the hidden history of contact itself?
Join us for a journey into one of the most emotionally charged and enigmatic corners of the close-encounter world, guided by a witness whose honesty and insight have only deepened with time.

This was a wonderful episode! Deb Jordan Kauble is a natural speaker. I loved being witness to this conversation. 🙏
Deb Jordan Kauble. When you talked about the loneliness you felt when there wasn’t any communication with the visitors, it sparked a memory in me. As a child around seven years of age I would go outside in the warm months and sit on the back steps of my house. I would then look up at the night sky and wonder where the sky ended and would do this many times in my early childhood. It usually followed by a fierce loneliness even though in the house, a few feet away were my two brothers, my mom, dad and grandmother. Years later I came to understand this feeling as separation anxiety. Also, I had a vivid dream of being taken to a barn but when I went inside it was a series of white rooms. I did try to find that particular dream that I had written down but was not successful in finding it. I didn’t want to send anything else in regard to that experience since I did not have the dream in front of me. This was an excellent interview and I thank you.
That’s amazing. I wonder how many people have dreams or memories of those white rooms
‘I’m lost at Sea’.. ‘How can we help you?’
‘Where am I? Who are you?’
This takes place all the time. The more you think you understand the less you see.
Hope for more, hope for more exciting challenges. You fear being strapped to a table with your legs open? Then you aren’t ready. You’re not. We all know I’m right.
I tried preparing Americans for the fall of the USA but I was met with anger, borderline hatred. Of course this will happen. Of course it will, child. Don’t be ridiculous. Grow up.
There are always growth pains/burns. Just get on with it and don’t complain. Believe me, here in Europe, no one cares, not any more..
Frankly, if you are met with anger, it may have something to do with your judgmental, negative tone.
Have YOU had a fetus snatched from your womb? Have YOU been strapped to a table with your legs open? If not, how can you judge? Are you sure you wouldn’t complain?
If the US falls, it will be deserved, but it WILL affect Europe and everywhere else, so I hope someone does care, even if you do not.
My first time listening to this, I don’t remember ANYTHING after pressing play. I pressed play and next thing I knew I was brought to by a loud noise while I was laying in a strange position. Not the first time this has happened when listening to Dreamland. And I know it’s a special show when this happens. Watching again.
Thank you!
Thank you for this. I so enjoyed listening to Deb both here and in her 2021 Dreamland appearance.
I was enchanted by the image of Deb as a small child, hanging upside down and thinking of the people in some other world that she missed, knowing that home was somewhere else, even while surrounded by her loving Earth family.
Just a short message for one person here…
Von Hausenberg. I care. I know it is maybe one of the hardest things to do right now, but please try to trust that there are Many who Do… Care and have compassion, who understand and care.
