To follow up on the story about Richard Parker the cabin boy and synchronicities . In the book “Life of Pi” about a boy Pi Patel who is shipwrecked on a boat and the only other companion sharing the boat with him is a tiger named Richard Parker!

So…yesterday, the news covered Cuba and it’s extensive power outage affecting over 10 million people. Their power grid basically collapsed, and they are still trying to restore power.

I remember when Obama tried to establish a new relationship with Cuba as president, and how important it felt to me. Of course, when his successor took office, he put the kibosh on that, and Cuba’s been in a decline for a while. A friend of mine was able to visit Cuba once, and she was very impressed by the people there, who managed to be friendly and welcoming despite their circumstances. So, these things have been on my mind in the last 24 hours.

I just learned the word “synchronicity” 5 to 10 years ago perhaps. People used to call everything a “coincidence”. And looking back way before I knew the word, I now realize I’ve had many many examples of “synchronicity” too many to record here. From the trivial to the profound! It often leaves me feeling awed by the world of magical happenings! I have come to believe that the invisible (mostly) world of beings (spiritual?) use this method of contact to make us aware that there is more to reality than is generally perceived. And I totally agree with all three of you on the show that the more we are aware of “synchronicities” the more often they occur. It’s almost like having one foot in this world and the other foot in the so called “spiritual world”! It seems that we are a reflection of “spiritual beings”, from the trickster to the profoundly serious and everything in between!
I was very close to my aunt, an older sister of my father. My mother had been bedridden for a couple of years when she died. She died on my aunt’s birthday. I have felt my mother was passing the baton. On occasion, I had accidentally referred to my aunt as my mother.
