Carl Johan Calleman was last with us in October discussing his book the Global Mind and the Rise of Civilization, he mentioned that he had a major new book coming out this year called the Nine Waves of Creation. It’s out, it is indeed a major reconceiving of the nature of reality, and in this week’s Dreamland Whitley explores it with Carl.
According to the theory, human society is governed by the energies that are deployed in the nine waves of creation. We are now in the 9th Wave, which promises equality. And yet our world is incredibly unequal and getting more so. A tiny minority of just a few hundred own more of the planet’s wealth than literally the entire population of billions. They also control most governments and seem unassailable in their power.
From a new understanding of the birth of the universe based on developing scientific theory to revelations about what is happening now and going to happen in the immediate future, this important interview breaks new ground.

Fascinating interview with
Fascinating interview with Carl Calleman! So much of it resonates with me ‘now’. Every year, I re-read certain spiritual texts, and right now I am reading ‘The Bhagavad Gita’ for the umpteenth time, only this year I have a deeper, more profound understanding of it than I have had in the past. When Carl discussed Yin and Yang, it was exactly in line with a passage that I read in Chapter 7 just last night in ‘The Bhagavad Gita’. The ‘Gita’ is an ancient Hindu text and is over 5,000 years old. Here is just a taste of it, and note the mention of “pairs of opposites.” These verses are spoken by Krishna:
Blind are the eyes
Which deem th’ Unmanifested manifest,
Not comprehending Me in my true Self!
Imperishable, viewless, undeclared,
Hidden behind my magic veil of shows,
I am not seen by all; I am not known-
Unborn and changeless- to the idle world.
But I, Arjuna! know all things which were,
And all which are, and all which are to be,
Albeit not one among them knoweth Me!
By passion for the “pairs of opposites,”
By those twain snares of Like and Dislike, Prince!
All creatures live bewildered, save some few
Who, quit of sins, holy in act, informed,
Freed from the “opposites,” and fixed in faith,
Cleave unto Me.
Who cleave, who seek in Me
Refuge from birth and death, those have the Truth!
Those know Me BRAHMA: know Me Soul of Souls,
The ADHYATMAN: know KARMA, my work;
Know I am ADHIBHUTA, Lord of Life,
And ADHIDAIVA, Lord of all the Gods,
And ADHIYAJNA, Lord of Sacrifice;
Worship Me well, with hearts of love and faith,
And find and hold me in the hour of death.
One more thing that I would like to mention is that two days ago, there was a shift for me. I felt it physically, and in a way that seemed to ‘lighten’ the load I have been carrying around for the last couple of years. I still recognize the craziness going on, but I no longer ‘feel’ it in my body, and I am also able to let go of much of it in my mind as well. I still function, I still care about the world, and I am also very aware that the craziness is, well, getting crazier. I’m just not embedded in it the way I was even a week ago. Did anyone else sense or feel this shift?

Cosmic, I suspect the ‘Dank Meme’ Urban definition in this case…I’m surprised it wasn’t posted at 4:20 (another Urban reference).
Cosmic, I can’t say I
Cosmic, I can’t say I experienced any kind of recent shift, as you described. The only time, I have experienced a real shift of any kind was about 15 or 20 years ago, when I sensed what I can only describe as a shock wave, like an unseen curtain from sky to ground, rushing across the land. Along with it, I felt many souls responding to it and not in a particularly positive way.
On another note, when I was very young, I had an extremely vivid dream that has stayed with me ’till this day, that involved three sets of three knocks at the back door. Despite me being frightened, I opened the door anyway…I wonder whether this might have been linked to a peak or trough in one of the waves Carl mentions?…this was mid 1975.
When the nine waves that are
When the nine waves that are referred to are overlayed on top of one another I suspect they represent quite a complex waveform. This reminded me of how the Sun has cycles of activity that can be shown as a complex wave of interacting frequencies. This got me wondering whether there might be any evidence of a correlation between solar activity and these nine overlaying cosmic waves?
BTW, I had a look at the comments from the last Dreamland interview Carl did…I really do need to get some of his books (namely, “The Purposeful Universe”, “The Global Mind and the Rise of Civilization” and now “The Nine Waves of Creation”) – they sound utterly fascinating. I am particulary interesting in finding out about the Cosmic Tree of Life that he mentioned (in the previous comments section) as being the source of the waves.

Carl Johan Calleman…….This is a thought provoking interview and I too have a few thoughts/questions. Might the MAYAN 9th WAVE also be working in tandem with the human chakra system? The waves being cosmic/cyclic in nature, waves that have always been and always will be? (I believe you suggest this?) Could humanity be in the position now (with this 9th wave) to rise up and restore the soul and to help others do the same? A process that has been going on endlessly, through-out all time? Some of this might be covered in the book……..

Amazing Show. Carl is right
Amazing Show. Carl is right on target..we nurture the duality whether we choose to concede or not. Whitley, this show is a wonderful synchronistical parallel to Linda’s Howe’s December interview with Jerry Wills on Earthfiles! The Universe or 9th Wave is simply a magnificent expressive of the co-created holographic fractal we each weave into a Soul Experience. Please be sure to have Mr. Calleman back; his understanding is immense and informative.
