This week on Dreamland, Whitley Strieber welcomes filmmaker Ron James, creator of Accidental Truth: UFO Revelations and its provocative sequel, Accidental Truth—Next: Beyond UFO Disclosure. Together, they move past the familiar arguments about unexplained objects and secret retrieval programs to confront the deeper questions: Who controls disclosure? What are they afraid to reveal? And could nonhuman intelligence itself be determining how much humanity is permitted to know?
Ron describes what he calls the “devil’s deal”—the moment politicians, journalists and researchers accept classified information they cannot share and become part of the secrecy they once promised to expose. He and Whitley also explore alleged exotic materials, the disappearance of evidence, managed whistleblowers, artificial intelligence, consciousness and the possibility that our physical reality is only one level of a far larger system.
Most importantly, they ask why experiencers—the people who have actually encountered the phenomenon—remain excluded from the official conversation.
Real disclosure will not begin in Congress. It will begin when the experiences of ordinary people can no longer be dismissed.

Great guest. Thanks Whitley. I will definately be watching the videos
I have been baffled for a while why those in the Maga Cult continue to be idolized on this subject. Why are characters like Dr Phil, the Tennessee MAGA Senator, Rogan, etc. are raised on pedestal for the disclosure subject. These conspiracy oriented and corrupt individuals do not provide confidence that there is any truth to the whole process. I guess I am putting trust in moral actors like Whitley and Ron to tell the truth, but quite frankly the more despicable characters I see the more I am in doubt. Note that have not been educated in the seedy politics of USA, hence I am likely out of my element. Anyhow, are there any other untainted leaders who can give confidence that ther is something to this. Thanks for your time.
In the US, for starters, how about Representatives Paulina Luna and Tim Burchett and former DoD staff member Christopher Karl Mellon, and in Canada, the now deceased former Defence Minister Paul Hellyer, to name just a few.
Definitely going to watch both docs. asap. I very much enjoyed this conversation and wished there had been an extended version or perhaps a ‘part 2’ very soon.
Whitley, you often makes references to things you imply knowledge of and I’d love to hear more details, but you tend to abruptly end those statements — I wish to know more. Assuming you’re correct about the major disruptions that will escalate from the wrath of nature the planet is experiencing now, what is your source and how dependable is it? You state that we have 24-48 months “at the outside,” before our planet physically changes ‘dramatically’ to the point where the population, as a species, will be radically reduced. If you know those details, tell us if there is a way to save ourselves, please.
I thoroughly enjoyed
Are you aware of Whitley and Art Bell’s non-fiction book, “The Coming Global Superstorm”?
Regarding another source, you might be aware of Whitley’s book “The Key”, and his interactions with a figure he calls the Master of the Key…who gave some interesting answers to one or two questions on the climate and many other areas of concern.
Writer11-
He may be referring to The coming global superstorm written with Art Bell. Or the knowledge handed down from the MOTK from THE KEY.
So much is escalating: earthquakes-heat-coral reef-wildfires…. is this a long slow build up or will it be a flipped switch catastrophe? No one has a crystal ball. But I agree if Whitley gest a download and we approach it with analysis and a dash of science & skepticism then I am all ears!
The visitors are know to say such vague statements ( in telepathy mostly) like
“Your world is dying and we cannot intervene.”
Discussions of a great melting and collapse of the AMOC begins ice ages and always has.
Mankind is exacerbating a natural cycle that would have taken centuries but now it may be decades.
The catch 22 will be migrations North to escape teh heat and then a huge ice age creates miles of frozen ice to Kansas city and beyond-just like the last natural ice age.
I would buy the THE KEY and read it like one would a Reference Bible.

Ok. I’ll try my best with my one-fingered typing to get this all down.
First of all, I connected just yesterday morning to Anthony Peake on a social media platform. He happened to post something involving Whitley’s ‘The Key’…it’s a weird. (So, Sherbet, you mentioned ‘The Key’ too.) I haven’t had a response from Peake. He and I had a mutual acquaintance in the UK. Suffice to say that Peake’s autographed copy of ‘The Key’ was left behind, to be replaced by another copy that seemingly appeared out of nowhere in an odd location. He’s seeking answers.
The Devil’s Deal interview…did something. If you watched (Please watch!) you know that things were happening during the interview. It felt odd.
After the interview with Ron James, we watched ‘Accidental Truth: UFO Revelations’. At first, we weren’t seeing anything truly new, but hang in there. It gets very interesting, especially when meta materials are discussed. We finished the documentary, but…afterwards, my partner became quite sleepy, then I did too, and considerably earlier than our normal bedtime. When we did go to bed we slept unlike we usually do (hard). We woke up later than normal for us, and were both ‘out of it’ for quite a while after we got up. We plan to watch ‘Accidental Truth—Next: Beyond UFO Disclosure’ later today or tomorrow. Stay tuned…
“The Devil’s Deal interview…did something. If you watched (Please watch!) you know that things were happening during the interview. It felt odd.”
You noticed too!!!!!!!! Shit was possessed!
I listened to the episode late at night alone at my haunted workplace and I began to have the most terrible of terrible moods and muscle soreness that stayed with me when I got home (though admittedly I do struggle with these things as it is paranormal influence or not). But I felt I could eke out in awareness (just barely) that this didn’t seem like me, but felt like I was being “hunted” and conspired against. I was actively thinking it was ghosts from work “hitchhiking” feeding on negativity. I reflected how over the years how so many ppl at my work have had terrible spells of mental illness – and the business I work for seems cursed in general (my options for work are limited!) …I sat wondering how much of it could be possession from haunting forces at work.
Now, I wonder if the show itself had some kind of possessive effect?
We never entertain such a thing – possession via media – for the frightening Pandora’s box of implications it opens.
But maybe such a thing can happen?
Out of desperation I ended up praying in a way I normally don’t when I got home.
I prayed desperately for “clarity” to Paramhansa Yogananda. I’ve never prayed to him and rarely pray for my self.
I ended up having one of the most powerful and wonderful dreams of my life when I went to sleep.
Within the dream everything finally made deep sense. My main life hangups were understood. I knew how to commune intimately with God in the most tiny of passing normally discarded details of life. Unfortunately, I couldn’t retain it much upon waking. The dream had a heavy NHI and UFO vibe throughout.
Upon waking from the dream it left me warily reflecting on the most terrifying passage in The Key of how it talks about soul traps are formed after death via giving people everything they wanted but not knowing it’s a ruse to harvest the soul.
I wonder if it’s not some poetic coincidence that Dreamland from last week with Jim Lough described an appalling tale of a hybrid coming after an experiencer like him with shocking menace and command over technology. Whitley described like experiences (and at others times has only generally alluded to such things I think out of trepidation to not want to potentially further provoke their ire.. and that’s most perfectly understandable!!).
…but..THIS DREAMLAND INTERVIEW CUTS DEEPLY TO THE CORE OF THE WHOLE PHENOMENON.. AND ALL IT’S RELATED PARTS.
MORE THAN MOST ANYONE THINKS!
To anyone reading:
You may think, “Yes! It’s terrible the deals others/ppl in power take for secrecy, but I don’t take any deal for secrecy, and wouldn’t”
But accounting only of others’ falls into temptation is not only too easy, but is dangerously fertile grounds for the taking up the same forces of demon within. “They are all bad, and with this hidden insight others don’t have I’m good.”
Can you look in the mirror and dare the demon to see the self-centered deals you cut throughout the day in the fictional privacy of your own life? Can you dare to see the stinginess by which you withhold respect, credit, and love and to others (God) for the hoarding imaginations of self? Can you dare to finally see and feel how this is the very gravity that weighs down the ascension that your own soul gasps for like a person wandering the desert for eternity for a drop of water …but whose thirst you deny while you water the lawn, and bathe in the pool?
I got excited by your remark Cosmic I quoted and went off on a rant mid-way through reading your comment. I didn’t finish it to which you startlingly venture similar out on a limb to wonder if this content provoked possessive like effects to your person:
”After the interview with Ron James, we watched ‘Accidental Truth: UFO Revelations’. At first, we weren’t seeing anything truly new, but hang in there. It gets very interesting, especially when meta materials are discussed. I’ve never speculated about such a thing in regard to any Dreamland, and I’ve listened since it was an over-the-airwaves radio show.
Also, after the show my laptop (though admittedly is on the fritz), was experiencing technical issues so bad that I thought it may have been permanently broken. In real-time I can I did link it to the momentum of what I was experiencing. Though source is hard to point a finger too, because sometimes it seems when I’m in a bad mood the world can bend magically to making sure it gets worse.
I’m glad someone else experienced and ‘felt’ this interview! It was not typical, and something entered the room…Whitley mentioned it and the whole feel of the talk changed. Not to disparage other listeners, but I sometimes feel like some aren’t really listening or paying attention…or blowing it off? I don’t know, but thanks for the validation, Mark!
Thank you for this interview. I will go watch the first movie now. I just want to ask why Whitley, yours and Anne’s collection of letters kept in Archives of the Impossible housed at Rice University in Houston were left out of this conversation. There were hundreds of thousands of letters as I remember and Anne and her friend sorted, filtered and edited these many first hand experiencer accounts into a wonderful collection which eventually became a book titled The Communion Letters. I just don’t see how anyone can be a skeptic after reading this book. These experiencers used snail mail for goodness sake. This was before internet right? Nowadays our culture looks nothing like 1987. These early experiencers are like the first astronauts. Bless them all and Bless you and Ron James for doing this good and necessary work.
More like ultra‐dimensionauts 😁
‘Accidental Truth—Next: Beyond UFO Disclosure’ is even better, and finally tackles some ideas and concepts that make everyday people’s eyes glaze over. Sherbet, you know what I’m talking about.
I found this to be a very powerful interview as well. Listened yesterday and then watched the first movie. I will watch the second movie tonight. The controlled narrative is finally discussed and I appreciated that. I was also very interested in the part of the brain that functions differently in experiencers. I have very clear sensation in this precise part of my brain- the awareness would increase dramatically to the point that it became my focus directly before an encounter. This was always the wake up or warning that an encounter was imminent. I am interested in “working” more with this part of myself and meditation seems to be the key. Can anyone else speak to this particular aspect of being an experiencer? I would like to have a deeper conversation about it. In the meantime, I look forward to the second film.
the brain discussion I am referring to is in the first movie…not this podcast.
Hey Whitley, I just heard Robert Bigalow quote you on another podcast…😮😀
