High strangeness indeed. Erik’s story, as with so many others’, has to get out so we can move the close encounter narrative into a more tangible exploration of the visitors’ possible motives, and our potential role in the greater world mostly hidden from us.
I am in shock. The area in Eastern Illinois on the Indiana border, where there might be caves harboring hybrid babies and children? My parents were born and raised there: my father in Paris, IL in 1928 and my mother in Terre Haute, IN in 1927 but she moved to Charleston, IL as a baby. We are all experiencers, all six children, though I have always been the most vocal. My parents lived in the Chicago area till I was two, then we moved to far southern Wisconsin, where my most frightening lifelong encounters began, shared by my twin brother.
I have so much to tell you that is flooding back right now but I am so overwhelmed right now I need to sort it out. Hearing about the caves where my family began was an immense trigger. I remember the caves, some of them full of glittering gems like where the dwarves worked in the old Disney movie “Snow White,” which rather scared me. My mother’s first experience was around 1935 and my dad about the same time.
I have so many vague baby presentation dreams, and strange ideas, even before age 11, that I needed to prepare a place in my bed to wrap a baby in.
I’ll stop here. I’m feeling really scared yet exhilarated. I’ve got to calm down. I’ll sort this all out.

I’ve been working with ChatGPT to help me do an analysis of the feasibility of the constructed caverns beneath eastern illinois.
The depth of the caverns, judging by the scales inherent in the map I was shown, would place them below the aquifers/water tables. There’s no oil production happening that far north in those areas.
No existing geological surveys in this area preclude the existence of caverns.
The bedrock is primarily Dolostone, which is a type of limestone with a high magnesium content. It’s absolutely ideal for the construction of high-strength subterranean installations.
The depth of the caverns, which I judged to be 1,700 to 2,500 feet is ideal for habitable temperatures, based on the geothermal gradient.
I go into a lot more detail in the memoir. Too much to type here. ChatGPT’s conclusion was that it would be POSSIBLE to detect caves at these depths, but would require a massive survey of the entire area with costs reaching as high as a million dollars. And there are no existing surveys that would preclude the possibility of caverns in that area.
I would love to have this investigated. But holy cow… what if they found a void underground in that area? What if they drilled to that depth to create a shaft? To send a drone? What would happen?
I think they showed me that map figuring I’d never recreate it or share it. But the one you see in this video… isn’t very accurate at all. I am working on creating a more accurate one.
Erik, I am getting your book now! I am still shell shocked and it would take forever to tell you everything I have experienced. I will say that my youngest sibling (age 65) was always fascinated by rocks and caves and got a degree ideology. My daughter just married a man who has a different degree but proposed to her in a cave! They arrived last week but the cave part scared.me for “no” reason.
I would very much like to hear more about YOUR experiences! You have to understand that the more we share, the closer we come to a more complete picture of the truth of this whole thing!

Guys, I am becoming exhausted. The problems with the website have been overwhelming. I don’t think it’s any sort of conspiracy, just the result of our longtime service provider Korax being sold to a far less good outfit, and all the hassles that have followed our having to move to a new service provider. Riveting conversation with Eric! He tells his own story with concise detail, while also conveying all the ‘high strangeness’ and the ‘reality’ of it that that somehow eludes us.
There are those of us trying to put ourselves out there to be of assistance to others who are having all kinds of strange experiences. A friend and I are working on that right now, by being good listeners for a small group, no judgement, with the caveat that we don’t have answers, but together we can be supportive of one another as we seek the answers and more information.
I know. You’re not alone! We are trying to fix this along with everything else that has become unstable. I am pretty sure that we will succeed, but it is going to take some time.
Turns out, running a website with lots of content is troublesome and labor-intensive. Things that can go wrong usually do.

Whitley, the analogy you made comparing the Visitors to the Morlocks.really hit home in this interview. I may be wrong, but I think it was one of your recent guests who said, “You either have a seat at the table or you’re the meal”. I don’t know how it can be achieved as we are not equals here on Planet Animal Farm, but we need a seat at the table with Them, and real soon. On the other hand, that may be the worst possible thing to happen to us.
Vinny, I truly believe that they care about us but are very sad that we can love and have true souls. Paradoxically, they have a sort of selfish grief toward us because we cannot stop the harm we are inflicting on ourselves and our planet and they need us FOR our souls.
I wonder if something along these lines might be true. They do seem quite sad, and obviously want us to survive or they wouldn’t be spreading their warnings.
You have made a key point. Sadly, mankind refuses to stop the harm to ourselves and the planet. As we speak, the U.S. government may be turning its back on sciences that might have helped us. As time goes on, pressure is going to build for intervention from the Visitors, but will they? If they do, what will that entail? I only wonder what kind of relationship they would have had with us if we weren’t bent on destroying ourselves and nature.
The idea that they’re trying to replace us is the most upsetting part. But if we really are the expansive beings that Whitley describes– and we ARE– I don’t see how they can actually accomplish that.
My best hope is that somehow we are all meant to collaborate and move forward together, avoiding destroying this planet, ourselves, or Them. I don’t have enough imagination to picture how that might work out.
If we are ‘expansive beings’, and we are, then maybe the replacement has to do with our current physical selves, not our souls. The Earth will not be able to sustain us on its current trajectory (A trajectory that we chose…) So, evolution may well come into play, and evolution doesn’t have to take millions of years. I think The Telepathy Tapes are reflecting that, as well as the rise in autism rates across the spectrum. And RFK ,Jr. wants a registry for autism? Our souls could continue to reincarnate as we evolve physically.
What impressed me the most– other than Eric having his arm cut off!!!!– was his sober, matter-of fact tone as he described such bizarre occurrences. At times one could hear the tightness in his voice as he remembered the most traumatic events, but he’s calmly sharing information, not going for drama or sensationalism. To me that seems the most useful way to go about this strange work.
I was more emotional about it a few years ago, but now I’ve had five years to digest it all and think about it. I wasn’t ready to write my memoir until December of ’24. But once I started… I wrote nonstop for four months! I feel ready to talk about it openly, which is why I agreed to do Ancient Aliens and Whitley’s podcast.
Great interview, and I definitely want to read Erik’s book.
What’s new and fascinating about this to me, besides the caves (WHAT?!), is the candor and, dare I say banter, between Erik and his Visitors. Erik’s calm nature may play a part in their interactions. Despite the fact that he temporarily lost his lower arm, and one of the Skinny Bob Girls thought he was going to be mean. So, who knows, but it does seem like his Visitors trust him to a certain extent.
The soul container evolution theory I find interesting, especially after listening to some of Steven Greer’s commentary concerning the Greys. He clearly stated that they, the Greys, were made by HUMANS (I’m sill searching for the video that contains his claims). He drove the point home when he asked, “Why would a civilization as advanced as the Greys are purported to be have a need for genetic material harvests?” That seems plausible, but it flies in the face (a bit) of what Erik is saying here. Point is: We have lots of experiencers sharing myriad stories that don’t always jibe. I’m fine with that.
No matter what, we come back around to the unwavering truth that we are not in charge of this phenomenon. We can speculate all we want, as we should, as long as we’re asking better questions…for example: There’s a hierarchy in Erik’s group of visitors? Sure seems so. Who are the little guy’s “superiors”? The tall Grey that let him touch his shoulder? Seems like it. But who the hell knows?
One more thing, some of Erik’s “dream” trip to Germany that was facilitated by the tall Grey sounded familiar. During a extremely lucid dream I had several years ago, I was witness to what seemed like a seemingly mechanical doll after an interaction with a tall Grey and a smaller one. The doll moved effortlessly, as if being pulled, and it was dressed like it was from…Bavaria. I knew the doll was something else entirely, and its garb was to keep me at ease. Maybe I’m the not so calm one…
I hope people will forgive me if I say that I am wary of Steven Greer. I don’t fully trust him and I don’t believe or agree with everything he says. I followed him for awhile during my discovery process in these last five years. I do, however, trust Linda Howe. And I like her very much. She’s really nice to talk to. Based on what I’ve heard her say in several programs, I’ve come to suspect that the Zeta Greys have seeded other grey species on a number of worlds… and they may be the ones who created the annunaki race (big nosed greys?)… that in turn purportedly created humanity. I’m curious about your Bavarian-themed dream. When I started googling some historic german towns, I’d say what matched up BEST with my dream was historic downtown Nuremberg.
I know precious little of Steven Greer, other than what I’ve seen on-line, but he seems to be everywhere I click. Undoubtedly, that’s algorithm driven. My opinion of him, as with other on-line “experts”, is to be determined.
The difference with Whitley and Linda, is that they predate the hype machine. They were in front of this information well over 30-years ago. Long before AOL was mailing me a “free” upload to the internet. So much of it now is regurgitated click bait. And that’s what intrigued me about your story…there isn’t any bullshit content trying to get me to look your way. At least that’s my perception of it.
I posted the lucid dream recounting here on the site a few years ago. I’ll track it down and post it here. There are some striking similarities between it and your experiences. Though yours is much more in-depth, nuanced and detailed.

Fascinating interview! I am also quite suspicious of Greer (disclaimer: my main “credential”, if you can call it that, is that I’ve listened to a lot of podcasts in the last few years…). However, I was shocked to realize recently that some of the stuff he says is corroborated by independent (more reliable?) sources.
Exhibit #1: the “psionic” work by the the skywatcher group looks very similar to the CE5 protocol that Greer has been promoting for years.
Exhibit #2: Greer says that many UAP/UFO sightings are actually of man-made vehicles, back-engineered from alien tech. Sounds crazy, but the “immaculate constellation” document states very clearly that the goal of this secret program is to study UAP, AND ALSO “ARV”, i.e., “reproduction vehicles” (the “A” in “ARV” could possibly stand for “alien” or “advanced”). I think it’s a good idea to take the Bavarian/Nuremberg/’doll and drill down to history…Especially in terms of the last 90 years or so, and what happened there that affected the world. I’ll leave it to you to take that in terms of research. It’s important, but maybe not as comforting as it seems, and maybe more of a warning…
It hadn’t occurred to me to search for some images of traditional German garb for children. I quickly found a dress that was uncannily like the one I saw. Kinda took my breath away, frankly.
Cosmiclibrarian, I’m aware of that 1500’s woodcut showing a battle between orbs/spaceships above Nuremberg. Everyone knows about the Nuremberg trials after WW2… but what other significance could tie my experiences to this virtual-environment they used? I mean… genetically, I’m close to half German. My surname is an americanized German name. Other than that, I got nothing.
Without getting too political, the USA is going in directions that are not dissimilar to Nazi Germany, which is why I feel that Bavaria/Nuremberg/German girl garb are to be considered as a whole. (If you really want to get the feel of what I’m saying, a viewing of the movie ‘Cabaret’ might help you see it differently). Lucid dreams are not always easy to decipher, as I’ve learned. Also, recall that during WWII that so-called Foo Fighters were spotted by allied forces in the skies by pilots, and before Roswell, and also as documented by Vallee and Harris in ‘Trinity’. In addition, Bavaria is where where Nazism put down roots in Germany. Once again, I’d say dive into history
Thus the ‘warning’ through visual images that seem innocent but aren’t…’puppets’…manipulation. Let’s not repeat history. The late Jim Marrs understood that when he wrote ‘The Rise of the Fourth Reich’.
To be clear, the doll-like “entity” that I witnessed gave me no pause as to its intentions. It was very clear to me that THEY sent her in disguise to retrieve something. The clothing seemed almost cliche, and to be even more precise, it looked much like the girl that Wendy’s hamburgers uses as their logo. Albeit much cruder and mechanical. There wasn’t an underlying message or political statement, but the dress most certainly is as I described.
I guess I would say that some lucid dreams aren’t always personal. They could also be your consciousness picking up on things not related to you…that’s why they can seem so strange…

It’s all quite strange…But my mind picks up a piece and follows an odd trail at times.
I suppose we see things differently. For one thing, I don’t see a present-day corollary to NAZI germany. For the moment, we aren’t in danger of falling to a fascist/socialist style of government, nor will we be openly exterminating entire races/religions… although some would argue the globe is being depopulated by globalist forces. That said, I don’t see the Greys using a bavarian style village in the dream environment as a warning based on our history. My impression is that their interest in my DNA may somehow be associated with its source – in that part of the world. It would be nice if I could ask them some day.

As a non-experiencer (at least to my knowledge!), I don’t think I can fully trust what the visitors say as to what their intentions and motives really are. No doubt, there is a plethora of anecdotal evidence from many abductees that sexual material has been taken from them, and also shown their offspring. To me, it is a heartbreaking offense for which they have no right to do, yet they seem to have no ethical misgivings. Whitley has stated numerous times over the years (over the decades!) that the visitors have said one thing, yet in their actions have been the complete opposite. This implies that they are tricksters to the highest degree and could never be trusted (it reminds me of the conversation Whitley had long ago with the tall blond or Nordic, who said the same exact thing, equating the Grays to a snake who slowly wraps itself around a person and will never let go). My guess is that their true motives are beyond a human’s comprehension.
Re: the caverns. They didn’t give you a time frame. Even if no one can substantiate the current existence of caverns. You could have been seeing the past or future. Check out “remote viewers” interviews for reference. Good luck with your memoirs. I’d like to read it.
Lady Liberty, the map they showed me was in response to my question “where are my offspring kept?” which would put it in the current day. I checked and there’s nothing in the geologic record, currently – any assays or anything – that precludes the possibility of constructed caverns being in the area I was shown. And at that depth, it’s difficult to detect a cavern from the surface. It’s possible, but very costly.
I live in Illinois and was so interested in this. I would love to help in any way possible!
