Legendary crop circle expert Andy Thomas joins Whitley this week to talk about the crucially important and increasingly neglected phenomenon of crop circles. But why neglected? From the day the intelligence community trotted out “Doug and Dave” with boards on their feet, our governments have been trying to make us believe that the phenomenon is a silly hoax that for the most part annoys farmers and has no significance.
Could one reason be found in the Crabwood formation of 2002, which contained a message in ASCII code: “Beware the bearers of false gifts and their broken promises. Much pain but still time. Believe. There is good out there. We oppose deception. Conduit closing?” If so, maybe the government’s great secret is that they are the ones who accepted the false gifts and fell for the broken promises. David Grush in his congressional testimony says that we have craft and bodies, and Diana Pasulka in American Cosmic calls the site in New Mexico where so much exotic material has been found the “donation site.”
Have we accepted donations from the dark side, and is that the secret the government is so desperate to hide?
Listen as Andy tells us about his attempts to contact the circle makers and understand the truth behind the formations. Somebody is trying to reach the human heart and mind. Somebody else, apparently supported by intelligence officials and certainly by the general the media, is trying to prevent that.

Excellent show Oct. 13, 2023. What a welcome reminder of the mystery of crop circles. I’m partial to the theory that they are an attempt by the visitors to communicate directly with the people of earth, whose leaders are too addicted to secrecy to relay the vast amount of information they have about UAP.
Thank you, Whitley, for continuing to wrestle with the riddle-like message from the visitors that the degradation of earth’s livability “will come upon them unawares.” Your preternatural ability to imagine future natural disasters has already been demonstrated in your brilliant writing.
Andy Thomas is so full of knowledge about crop circles and related phenomena that, before the show was over, I had already ordered a copy of his book you recommended, QUEST FOR CONTACT. For any other Dreamlanders interested in obtaining Thomas’s book, skip Amazon, where used copies of the out-of-print tome go for around $100, and search on bookfinders.com, which is how I where I found the book I ordered for under $8.
Thanks for the bookfinders tip!
I visited two crop circles during the CC convention in Devies whilst staying at the Bear Hotel in Wiltshire England back in 2018. They are magic and they are real. The lay of the pressed crop is interwoven, insects are frozen on stalks- which are bent, not broken. No fool after a few pints used ropes and plywood on this beautiful creations. One incident a surveyor’s plane flew by an empty field and 15 minutes later a CC was there -all caught by survey photography.
I saw a recent NYT article where they trotted out the 2 fellows who ‘confessed’ to making CC’s. An obvious ‘plant’… I now question anything I see in the NYT’s – who I taught were THE credible news source. Look at my profile picture- that’s me in the Hackenberry CC back in 2018.

Yes, it is sickening that NYT would print intentional lies. A disgrace to journalism.
Terrific show.
These ‘helicopters’ hovering, I really wonder sometimes about some of the things we can see and hear, even in broad daylight. I’ve wondered if other presences/consciousness around us can project sights and sounds into our conscious awareness (or is it our conscious mind trying to interpret what it’s perceiving?).
Quite a few times I’ve awoken to hearing a helicopter hovering right over my bedroom. The noise was incredible and no, I didn’t look out of the window, just rolled over back to sleep..
Do I really think a helicopter was there? Well, it didn’t wake anyone else up and I’ve also heard hurricanes right outside my kitchen window in the dead of night, so what is going on? No idea, but I can’t help but wonder if such things can be projected into our minds.
At times I’ve had strange dreams about people (Women & Men) in Grey and Black uniforms (slightly futuristic); some kind of advanced Air-force personnel.
I once awoke in the dead of night to the hypnotic sound of a strange flute. It was the most hypnotic thing I’ve ever heard and quite beautiful. I do not believe this was anything other than a very subtle guiding consciousness of unknown origin.
All of this is a wonderful mystery.
Peace.
I find Crop Circles to be amazing and I get a few main take-away impressions:
1.) Never lose a sense of Mystery.
2.) Art symbols speak to us in a language that conveys beauty and majesty which words cannot achieve.
3.) Mathematics is a superior language and there is a new symbolic language which humanity may learn by pursuing the evolution of mathematics. People often manipulate mathematical symbols without visualizing the beautiful forms which they imply. There is a key in the relationship between Mathematics and Visioning.
For those who’ve forgotten crop formations, this show was a welcome refresher to people who’ve been interested in this for years, as well as newbies. There is a good online resource that I have relied on for years for beautiful images if anyone wants to get an idea of what they look like—and how they make you feel. If you are not able to travel and see them, I recommend Lucy Pringle’s website in the UK. You can peruse the images by year and month from 1990 to the present:
https://cropcirclephotographs.co.uk/
The images referenced by Whitley for August 2001 (2 at Chilbolton, and the one at Milk Hill) are there. The one that includes the alien face with ASCII code is also there for August 2002.

Freddy Silva’s site is also a good resource, as well as his many books, and not about just crop formations, but also sacred sites.

I blew off Doug and Dave as soon as I heard about them. There are hoaxes, for sure, (Mothership Glass comes to mind) as well as advertising, but real formations affect you differently, even if all you have is a photograph, and they stick in your consciousness—as they are meant to do. They are like works of art, with Mother Earth as the canvas.
Once again, I recommend Whitley’s Crop Circle Meditations for subscribers.

Black helicopters? I had one hover directly over my backyard once, so low that I could see the door was open with someone standing inside. My whole house shook, and you could hear dishes rattling in the kitchen cabinets. I ran out my front door, ready to to wiggle into a storm drain if I had to. Funny thing was, I lived in a big neighborhood and I saw NO ONE else outside, and it was quiet as could be. That was one of the creepiest things that ever happened to me, and my husband and son were out of town at Boy Scouts Camp. I still question what it was all about.
It’s fascinating about these helicopters overhead. The noise, the blast, the sense of being targeted. Yes, I believe that this helicopter overhead event happened exactly as described, absolutely. What was really going on though?
As with Mr & Mrs Strieber’s crop circle helicopter it was an unmissable happening but I’d be fascinated to hear about visceral instincts or suspicions anout what was REALLY overhead?
I’ve only been in one crop circle, back in the early 2000’s and while I saw nothing out of the ordinary I did hear what sounded like a big cat growling in the corn behind me. Curiouser and curiouser.
Peace.
Only a couple of days ago (!) I became aware of Aidan Shaffer who tries to find meaning in crop circles from a nuclear physics, propulsion and technical viewpoint. He extrapolates them into 3d images. He has intuitions about the circles and is in contact with “blue people”. https://youtu.be/z8AK7dsQ1Io?si=f_aqlk7AnrUJqi_B
Excellent! I haven’t watched the whole video, but I will later. The ideas show real promise. Shaffer’s take brings to mind the story by Carl Sagan and Ann Druyan, and the movie, ‘Contact’. The story involves messages in radio signals…that end up with instructions from other beings on how to build a machine, which in the end, leaves more questions than answers. But the main character, Ellie Arroway is the ‘Experiencer’ in many ways and levels. ‘Contact’ is still a wonderful film. Great find, SonjaTB!
Wow!
Good Lord this looks interesting.
Peace.
Wow, thanks!
