As I read this on Easter Sunday I am wondering if Cayce is referring to ALL humankind. Perhaps a needed step for ALL of us before we have the ability to shift, STAY and live in that higher realm of existence? ONLY MY THOUGHTS HERE.

What a strange experience…
First, I attempted to go to the video feed of this broadcast, and was told that the video feed had been taken down. So, I decided to just listen. No biggie. I put on my headphones and glanced at the clock which showed 2:20 PM. I started listening, the last thing I remember was Carter explaining his experience with the Grey to his wife. The next thing I know, I’m waking up to see that the broadcast is over. Rats! I slept through the whole thing! Then…I look t the clock…which shows 2:20 PM. The clock is definitely working. So…I started over, and felt totally confused.
I’ve been listening (Again?) and all is normal, except I’m hearing all the religious/spiritual/experience information that I have known for a long time, and I’ve studied a lot of religions and belief systems.
Last year my friend in North Carolina and I began developing our own podcast, which was put on hold when she experienced a health issue. We are now trying to get back on track, but we have both discussed the importance of helping others get through the ontological shock that is coming. That is our main goal, understanding how difficult it will be for everyone, and just being guides and and good listeners for people, not saviors, using knowledge and wisdom to assist a few to get through it. (And we’ll be going through it too!).
Looking at this space, I have a large “Om” symbol on the shelf. On the walls are Buddha, White Buffalo Woman, The Eye of Horus, and The ancient Egyptian Winged Sun Disk. I also have a beautiful print of Marlene Seven Bremner’s, ‘The Golden Pill’, next to a large signed and numbered print of the Grand Canyon by Dalhart Windberg, and a turquoise figurine of a little owl is watching me from the window sill with inquiring blue-green eyes with large black pupils.
I’m as ready as I’ll ever be…as I hear that hum in my ears that is Their equivalent of a ‘thumbs up’.
This life is weird…

Other things have been going on too. I think it’s interesting that our vice president saw the pope on (Easter) Sunday, followed by Pope Francis’ passing on Monday morning, all on the heels of this ‘Dreamland’ episode ‘Will ET End Religion?’. I had other things going on on Sunday, including waking up to find our yard full of vultures all day Sunday and Monday. ( A dead doe on the other side of our fence.)
Watching the news, a reporter was interviewing regular people outside the Vatican about their thoughts on the death of the pope. There was an American woman there that they talked to who expressed that it was a sad day, followed by her remarks that she hoped the next pope was more “conservative”! Religion has always been a tool for leaders and politicians, but this was…chilling…from an American tourist.

That largely depends upon how one defines religion.

It could pose an existential threat to certain deeply doctrinaire and very conservative fundamentalisms.
Or, perversely, it might simply further entrench them (if their reactionary response is one of simply and literally demonizing ET).

Polarization seems to be the ubiquitous order of the day — politically, socially, and religiously. Increasingly, the divide seems to be deepening both rapidly and radically.

Some forms of religion could benefit from such a revelation (term chosen advisedly). Other forms of religion, on the other hand, would face profoundly threatening challenges.
Some might not survive; others might become even more extremely radicalized.
But some would perhaps, for lack of a better word, evolve.
If the revelation of an ET presence also entailed a compelling affirmation that Reality truly is metaphysically bigger and spiritually deeper, more complex and dimensional and layered than many of us dream, then such a revelation could be immensely transformative for many of us.
But probably not for all of us, since it would likely be largely if not entirely rejected (and even met with outraged hostility) by those who cling defensively to more parochial worldviews, and who prefer their old time religion with a generous side of literalism/inerrantism.
It would be like the fundamentalist/modernist controversy, and the young-earth creationist controversy, and the flat-earth controversy all over again, but now on quantum steroids.
In the long run, human spirituality might well be enriched. Conversely, also in the long run, ultra-conservative religious traditions might wither.
But they might not go down quietly.

Thank you for this. As one who is anti-religious, I enjoyed this conversation. We are more than the sum of our physical parts.
Thank you Rev. Carter and Whitley. It is so important that there are “ambassadors” or people who can keep their heads and talk reasonably or sensibly about this revelation of our star families and I just cannot see how to do it yet or how to be ready when needed. There are tons of therapies for trauma but this is a whole different animal. The first time I heard the word ontological shock the closest thing I could come up with to equal meeting aliens was having a death of a loved one. Most people are not prepared even though they may see it coming. Especially your everyday American culture almost doesn’t believe in death. They put all manner of things off to avoid even thinking about it. Anyway I cannot yet begin to see any sort of bridge and hope someone reading this can chime in. At the very least all of your experience with the visitors, your books and your Unknown Country wisdom clearly have the goal to this end, for us to wake up, take care of ourselves, each other and our planet. I am not an experiencer, yet!
