Tonight on Dreamland, Linda Moulton Howe and Lucy Pringle will both announce their findings on the Chilbolton crop formations.
On August 14, 2001, an extraordinary crop formation was discovered in a field near the Chilbolton Radio Telescope. A few days later, another formation was observed.
The formations were first recorded by Lucy Pringle, and have subsequently been studied by Pringle, Linda Moulton Howe and many others. Lucy Pringle and Linda Moulton Howe have both studied the formations extensively, Linda from the standpoint of scientific analysis of the crop in the formations, and Lucy from a detailed on-the-ground analysis as well.
Chilbolton has a long history of crop formations. The first one in the area was found in 1990. Another was observed in 1992, and Lucy Pringle, in her article, Chilbolton History and Crop Formations writes, “Strange things happened the night it formed, some said there was a blanket of mist, others spoke of seeing a strange off-white and very bright light very high up, travelling from horizon to horizon at great speed. A few days later, a small aircraft and a micro-light both crashed into the same barley field as the crop circles.”
In 2000, there was a large formation, and then on August 14, 2001, the remarkable “Chilbolton Glyph” was discovered. Subsequently, a second formation, which appeared from high altitude to be a face, also appeared.
Were these two crop formations, arguably the most amazing ever to appear, created by people, or are they truly mysterious? Crop Circle researcher Colin Andrews has already stated his belief that they are both manmade.
Tonight, we’ll find out for sure on Dreamland.
