UPDATE – Perhaps as a moral imperative, Westminster/John Knox Press, the official publishing house of the Presbyterian Church, has published a new David Ray Griffin book titled Christian Faith and the Truth Behind 9/11: A Call to Reflection and Action. Griffin has been interviewed by Whitley on Dreamland. Subscribers can still listen to this show. The book was published in July. To order a copy, click here.
In wdcmedia.com, journalist Jim Brown quotes Jack Adams, editor of the conservative magazine Presbyterian Layman, as saying, “The majority of the members of the Presbyterian Church are members of the Republican Party,” so he doubts that many of them will support this book. Griffin claims that the terrorist attacks on 911 were carried out by the Bush administration to justify going to war in Afghanistan and Iraq. He is a professor at Claremont School of Theology in California.
