A large group of one large and three smaller crop circles have appeared in Utah. This is the tenth circle to appear in the state over the years. The largest showed up on July 21, 1998 on the same day that similar circles appeared in Oregon, Idaho and Belgium.
Todd Hollingshead writes in the Daily Herald that circle expert Nancy Talbott, of the BLT (Burke, Levengood and Talbott) research group, sent volunteers to the site to get samples for testing. Crop circle researcher Lucius Farish says, “They look for footprints and they take samples for various phenomenon. Sometimes the nodes at the joints of the plants are exploded because of microwave energy.” Exploded nodes are a sign that the crop was flattened by a sudden burst of heat, as in “real” crop circles, rather than being flattened with ropes and boards by hoaxers. A volunteer named Melissa says, “There’s a lot of sacred geometric patterns in these circles.”
Gustavo Lopez says he heard a dog whining and yelping when he arrived to work nearby early Sunday morning, the day the circle appeared. Talbott says, “Other residents in the area said they heard the dog too. It’s common for animals to exhibit uncommon behavior in situations like these.”
Farish says, “I’ve been interested in UFOs for years, but I can’t tell you who made crop circles, why they were made or where they’ll pop up next.”
Many researchers try to interpret crop circles using symbols. It turns out words can reveal secrets as well. Find out how IHVH, the four Hebrew letters in the lost name of God, hold the key that unlocks the meaning behind astrological symbolism, the Tarot, the kabbalah, the Book of Revelation and the I Ching.
