We are receiving more and more reports from UFO hunters that they are having success. What was a rare experience ten years ago is now commonplace. But you have to take some basic steps (NOTE: Subscribers can still listen to this show).
First, you need to be prepared to spend some time outdoors at night, so appropriate clothing is important, as are snacks and whatever else you need to stay warm.
A good camera and tripod are also important. Preferably a high quality still camera or an HD video camera. In both cases, bring a tripod and a good zoom lens. Don’t rely on a cellphone camera.
Take flashlights. Many people have found that flashlights are useful in getting attention and getting response. There is nothing like that strange star turning off and on to reassure you that you’re not just looking at Epsilon Eridani or Jupiter.
Most important, stake out your claim in an area where UFOs are being seen frequently. To find out where this is happening, The US National UFO Reporting Center can offer important clues about good areas. Also follow Unknowncountry.com’s Out There section, as it frequently identifies where waves are taking place. UFO Stalker provides sighting maps that can be invaluable to the UFO hunter.
