Internet router hubs are down worldwide as if this afternoon. At present, routers are down in India, Iran, Singapore, Africa, Italy, Poland, Spain, Sweden, the UK (Milton Keynes), California (Anaheim), Canada (Ontario and Vancouver), Georgia, Iowa, Mexico (Chihuahua), Michigan, Georgia, parts of Texas, New Jersey (Atlantic City) and other areas.
There has been no announcement about these outages, but it is unusual for so many hubs to be down at the same time.
Users in the affected areas may or may not have internet access, as the ‘net will reroute all the traffic it can past nonfunctional areas, but slow access and, in some cases, no access are possibilities.
A generalized outage like this is likely caused by intentional shutdown or hacking. It is unlikely that all these hubs have malfunctioned at the same time.
This is a mystery–could it be some sort of an attack? We get attacked too and it sometimes even happens on Dreamland (NOTE: Subscribers can still listen to this show). Have Whitley and Anne fended off so many attacks over the years, only to die from neglect today? Only YOU can change that: Subscribe today (AND NOTE: Subscribers get 10% off tickets to the Dreamland Festival in May!)
