Aliens, that is – It’s supposed to be an official secret, but it’s pretty obvious to most of us: Aliens are here (and UK’s official astronomer Martin Rees believes that this may be true.)
Rees says, “They could be staring us in the face and we just don’t recognize them. The problem is that we’re looking for something very much like us, assuming that they at least have something like the same mathematics and technology.”
The UK newspaper the Telegraph quotes Rees as saying, “I suspect there could be life and intelligence out there in forms we can’t conceive. Just as a chimpanzee can’t understand quantum theory, it could be there as aspects of reality that are beyond the capacity of our brains.”
UFO researcher Frank Dale thinks he knows why, if they’re out there, they haven’t picked up on our SETI signals. He says that digital TV signals would look like noise to arace of observing aliens.
Meanwhile, when WE finally return to space, sometime in the future, our astronauts may travel to the space station and the moon in an inflatable spacecraft. We have no information on whether or not they can deflate it when they arrive, then blow it back up for the trip home. Let’s hope there are no aliens with sharp pins waiting for them!
