“Very, Very Soon”: Trump Promises UFO File Release as Pressure Mounts in Congress

In what could become one of the most consequential moments in modern history, or perhaps all history, President Donald Trump has announced that long-awaited government files on unidentified aerial phenomena will be released “very, very soon.”

Speaking at a recent public event, Trump confirmed that a federal review of classified material had uncovered “very interesting documents,” adding that the public would soon have the opportunity to examine at least an initial tranche of records.

The announcement follows a directive issued earlier this year ordering agencies to begin identifying and declassifying UFO-related materials, reflecting what insiders describe as a rapidly accelerating shift toward transparency. His statement came after Rep. Ana Paulina Luna expressed frustration that the Pentagon had missed a deadline to release 43 known and identified UFO files showing

Representative Anna Paulina Luna said, “We will be getting those files,” after reporting that the Pentagon missed an April 14 deadline to provide dozens of videos documenting alleged encounters with unidentified anomalous phenomena.

She had previously sent a letter seeking more than 45 videos which are said to show “Tic-Tac” objects, cigar shaped objects and classic UFOs. The videos were recorded in war zones, over restricted airspace and over the ocean. There are said to be videos from the areas of Iran, Syria, various U.S. bases and over Lake Huron. On February 3, 2023, a U.S. jet shot down an unknown object over the lake, and no information about it has ever been released. As far back as 1947, President Harry S. Truman ordered that unknown craft be shot down if they refused to identify themselves by radio.

Luna hairs the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, said on Tuesday, “No one from the Pentagon had responded until we reached out, and it appears that someone did not pass the letter to the appropriate authorities. How convenient.”

Rep. Tim Burchett has also spoken out recently regarding the Pentagon’s stonewalling. “The government is not telling us everything,” Burchett said in a recent interview. He suggested that technology “not of this world” may be involved.

Burchett’s position reflects growing bipartisan frustration in Washington. Lawmakers, including Representative Luna, have pushed for the release of classified UAP imagery and briefings, arguing that the American public—and Congress itself—have been kept in the dark for decades.

The current push is not occurring in isolation. Vice President J. D. Vance has openly expressed fascination with UFOs, while other political figures such as Marco Rubio and Tulsi Gabbard have previously framed the issue as both a national security concern and a legitimate subject of scientific inquiry. (Click here to see Whitley’s Journal on Vance’s statement that he believes that aliens are demons.)

This convergence of executive action and congressional pressure has energized long-time disclosure advocates, some of whom now believe that official acknowledgment of non-human intelligence—once unthinkable—may be approaching a tipping point.

Despite the rising momentum, official investigations have so far stopped short of confirming extraterrestrial involvement. Pentagon reviews have repeatedly attributed most sightings to misidentified objects or natural phenomena, underscoring the tension between expectation and evidence.

Still, Trump’s promise of imminent disclosure has transformed the conversation. Whether the coming releases will contain definitive answers—or simply deepen the mystery—remains to be seen.

  1. Rep. Tim Burchett also explained that the information is in the hands of the corporate world, and they’re not subject to FOIA.
It’s very important to understand this – it’s the lifeblood of the Secret Government as they view the Government as a smoke screen for the masses – the President on a “need to know” basis, puppets that come and go. I suspect we’re going to be disappointed once again.

    1. I’m going to be talking a lot about this. I think I know where some of that material is, and it may be possible to claw it back legally.

  2. I have to agree, Atman. Frankly, if disclosure occurs it will not come from anyone but THEM. Interestingly, Chris Bledsoe has been saying for several years that THEY will reveal themselves in April 2026, stating that it will come about when Israel and Iran put the world in a dangerous situation. The month of April 2026 is winding down, Iran and Israel are a problem (Nothing really new there…). Darrel Anka (Bashar) says disclosure in 2026 also, with John Ramirez saying 2027. So…we’ll see.

  3. It’s THE question. My personal thought is that they wait for some kind of official disclosure before showing up–unless, of course, they have to wait too long. I think that they will manifest themselves either when the environment collapses or nuclear war starts to break out. If neither thing happens and there is no disclosure, then I am not sure what might happen. They are getting closer though, which is why I put out Transformation 2026. It gives you a clear idea about what it’s actually like to have them in your life.

  4. They are getting closer, no doubt. I’m sure that their patience is wearing thin with us. I feel that they are more concerned about this very special place, this planet, more so than about our species, at this point, which seems to have stalled in its spiritual growth process. Some of us do get it, but as a species, no. We are still so primitive, despite our advances in science and technology. They will appear…and it very well could happen sooner rather than later. They are thisclose.

    1. You’re right about the human race. In theory, evolution means moving toward something better. But right now, we’re taking a huge step backward. History shows us that it always takes one madman somewhere to halt the progress of entire populations. And it seems there’s always one in the making somewhere… Human beings possess this ultimate capacity: free will. It can even allow them to take pleasure in their own self-destruction.

  5. We know what happened to the Epstein files. If anyone still wants to believe this administration, so be it. If someone in your circle changes their mind every five minutes, would you be inclined to take what they say seriously? It sad.

    1. My sense is that Trump felt he had to make a statement about UAPs because Obama had just done so, and he couldn’t let Obama upstage him. (I’m quite intrigued by Obama’s statement “They’re not at Area 51.”)

My other sense is that Trump will have exactly as much success as others have had in prying this information out of the hands of those who hold it so tightly.

Yet, I do hope that, whether through intention or through incompetence, more does come out soon.
