UFO sightings rose dramatically in August.

Yeah, it was because there were too many alien movies this summer. Except there were fewer than last summer. Yeah, it was because people are outside during the summer. Except UFO sightings don’t normally peak in the summer months. They are steady throughout the year. But the chances of this being an ‘alien invasion,’ as this article states don’t seem very great. There have been bigger UFO flaps in the past, such as the 1952 flap that sent Washington into a tizzy.
