What if our visitors finally land? When I say ‘land,’ I do not mean that in any conventional way. I don’t think that they are aliens from another planet–or, if such beings are a factor in what is happening in our world, they are not the major factor. What is happening is so vast and complex that it has never really been fully described. But certainly, we are not dealing with scientists from another planet here studying us. What is happening is deeply embedded in human experience, and has been, I would think, throughout our history.

Once again, there are rumors that some sort of official admission of an alien presence might take place. I don’t wish to speculate on that, but if it does happen, then there will be a greater possibility of open contact. Initially, all of the change is liable to be on our side of the equation, but, if it does lead to more open contact, two things will then pertain: first, the complexity of human experience will increase exponentially; second, over time, there will be a shift in the center of gravity of our consciousness, away from the physical and into energetic reality.

Brazilian UFO researcher Jan Val Ellam is suggesting that contact could take place between November 16, 2006 and April 30, 2007. He is well known in the field in Brazil, which is also has extensive UFO and contact activity, and a very capable local UFO community. He has said that it will initially consist of large scale and undeniable UFO sightings in many world cities, and limited contact with individuals.

Frankly, I’d be floored if this actually happened, but I do think that conditions under which contact might be an option are, in fact, present, and that hasn’t been true until recently. As I see it, these conditions are as follows:
