The earth’s magnetic field normally reverses about every 500,000 years. The last reversal was 800,000 years ago, and now the north magnetic pole is moving at the rate of 40 miles per year. Does this mean that the magnetic field is reversing now? The British Geologic Survey says, "The South Atlantic Anomaly (SAA) is known to be growing in extent and spreading westwards from South Africa, as the Earth’s internal magnetic field rapidly weakens in this region. This may be early evidence of a forthcoming reversal in the direction of the Earth’s internal magnetic field."

The magnetic pole shift that is going on now has sped up and cause havoc with our weather, including a possible superstorm. When the poles shift, they change the Earth’s magnetic field becomes unstable. The magnetic field shields us from cancer-causing radiation, and as this field weakens, the number of cancer cases may rise as DNA mutations become more common.

The magnetic North Pole is shifting and the poles may even flip–this is something geologists say happens regularly on the earth (NOTE: Subscribers can still listen to this show). The current pole shift caused the Tampa International Airport to shut down one of its runways in order to repaint the North/South indicators at either end of it. The North Poles is gradually shifting towards Russia at the rate of about 40 miles per year. The number 36 runway pointed North at 360 degrees, but now it points 10 degrees north, so the airport decided to rename it number 1.

Going on NOW – It’s moving fast and very soon things may be completely different. The normally slow pole shift process may be accelerating at a rapid rate (NOTE: Subscribers can still listen to this show).
