What happens when a distinguished, highly reputable photojournalist with credits from The New York Times, Der Spiegel, Marie Clair, Time Magazine and other prestigious journals – sees and photographs something in the skies he cannot identify? The answer is, of course, that he writes about it. In fact, he put his reputation on the line to write a straightforward report of what he saw and of his challenge to capture the image.

The town of Cannock Chase in the UK Midlands is a high strangeness hotspot, and now a huge UFO has crossed the area emitting a powerful rumbling sound. On the night of March 24 at approximately 9PM local time, residents were startled by a loud noise coming from the sky. They rushed out of their homes to see an enormous dark shape defined by three red lights moving slowly over the area. The general consensus is that it must have been some sort of secret drone, perhaps being flown from a US aircraft carrier that had recently arrived in the nearby port of Portsmouth. But there are significant problems with this explanation.

Most scientists assume that aliens can’t be here because interstellar travel is impossible. But Dr. Eric Davis of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Austin is saying that new discoveries mean that ‘warp drives’ may not as difficult to create as once thought. If so, then it is almost inevitable that aliens are here. So why aren’t scientists more open to this possibility? Dr. Davis says that UFOs are "artificial objects under intelligent control," but he calls the subject a "forbidden topic" in science and explains that the UFO topic is a military secret.
