When we’re looking for extraterrestrial life, other moons may be our best bet. Among the most habitable alien worlds is Saturn’s moon Titan.

In recent years, the search for potentially habitable planets outside our solar system has increased. NASA’s Kepler space telescope, launched in 2009, has found more than 1,000 possible planets so far. BBC News quotes astronomer Dirk Schulze-Makuch as saying, "The first question is whether Earth-like conditions can be found on other worlds, since we know empirically that those conditions could harbor life."

The White House has responded to recent petitions requesting disclosure of UFO-related information by saying that the US government has no knowledge of any extraterrestrial presence on earth and has never communicated in any way with extraterrestrials. At the same time, a Los Angeles researcher has stated that he has "proved" that the close encounter experience is a form of lucid dream that can be reliably induced in a sleep lab.

A rod-shaped UFO was caught on video during the October 23rd NFL game between the New Orleans Saints and the Indianapolis Colts. As NBC’s cameras returned from a commercial break, a couple of lit objects seemed to streak across the darkening sky behind a cathedral tower. The object moves behind the steeple of a cathedral, and therefore is too far from the camera lens to be an insect. It is also brightly lit, but there is no external light source to explain this. It moves much faster than an aircraft or balloon, and does not display the flight characteristics of either. The object is a present unidentified.
