It’s not just Greece, Ireland, Iceland, Portugal, Spain and Italy. If they go under, the world banking system ends. And if Greece goes, the others will almost certainly follow. It seems completely incredible, but there is only one real solution to the crisis, which is to cancel all debt public and private, and start over on a new basis. Otherwise, we are facing a world-historical catastrophe that is going to impoverish every single human being on planet earth and leave us unable to recover for so long that civilzation itself will crumble.

Does this mean I should go shopping like mad & run up my Credit Card?

  2. I’m running up my VISA right

I’m running up my VISA right now!

  3. I have heard this idea of a
I have heard this idea of a “debt jubilee” from some in the know economically.

Sounds counterintuitive, but may be the real answer! I tend to agree…

  4. I was thinking about this
I was thinking about this very thing the other day. Didn’t know anybody else was thinking it too.

  5. Store food
Store food water…prepare..renew friendships with your neighbors…have a bug out bag ready to go…another deeper crash is predicted for Ocober…the EU countries are getting nasty w each other…don’t count on our government doing any thing sane, this country is broke too.

  6. From what I gather, there was
From what I gather, there was recently an important meeting between world powers regarding this very subject. The webcast seemed to imply that it had something to do with the world monetary standard which, of course, is the US dollar. However, the US was not invited to this meeting. The narrator went on to give the impression that the likelihood of the dollar being yanked as the standard could be as imminent as the next couple of years. There are places in the world which will not accept US dollars, just as there are places in the US which are more than happy to accept certain other forms of currency. If this were to happen, everything from bread to gasoline would skyrocket in price to the point of people rioting in the streets. He was selling gold and silver, as far as I could tell. But I guess he would know. If our government is selling off our debt, what does this really imply? Someone has to pay it. So, in essence, they are selling off US citizens…. when millions can’t even find a job, due to the games being played by Wall Street. Kind of makes one wonder… trade centers carting mass amounts of gold suddenly being turned to dust, the details of a certain 3 trillion dollars suddenly going up in flames with the Pentagon office where those records lay. I remember being in France, at an old abbey, once. The town still thrived around it… but the hall of records had been burnt to a crisp. Revolution era, people hoarding precious metal and looking for arms deals. Freemasons lurking around the Jacobin clubs. Couldn’t help but connect the imagery in my mind, for some reason. Sorry for the speech. Too much coffee again!

  7. You would think that rich
You would think that rich western countries and western banks would be loaded with money. Instead they are loaded with debt go figure. Not my freaking problem! Don’t care one bit about banks. Casino style greed palaces.

    War is coming…

  9. I must agree. Seen in
I must agree. Seen in sobriety, the issue must be faced sqarely: would a managed debt reset be worse than chaos? The latter would, at the very least, cause a breakdown of international trade. Because industrial civilization requires vital industrial minerals available in a predictable way, strongmen will seize them, with horrific results with tribal forces worldwide eager for “respect” and for whom all nukes are “tactical”. Maybe that’s what the 2012 seers are seeing. America would probably pick the Soprano-like governor of New Jersey to be Caesar.

We just need to print the signs: Managed Debt Reset 2012

  10. I have been wondering about
I have been wondering about the faster than light neutrinos and time travel and what might that have to do with 2012? I agree with Whitley that cancelling debt is the onllly thing that would help, but do those in power really WANT things to get better, or do they REALLY just want to get down to the 500 mill population?

  11. I mean, I believe the Nazis
I mean, I believe the Nazis were SOOO close to time travel ie the nazi bell showing up in penn in the sixties….perhaps this neutrino thing is the LAST thing they needed to find to make it possible for our world to be flooded with REAL nazis from the 40’s, just as Obama would like in his Socialized politics. What a scary thought…..millions of Nazis wearing the death head just streaming into our world….we already know how many came to the us in the forties….I’ve always had a creepy feeling they were still there lurking in the shadows….Hey whit what a great idea for a book!

  12. Erase the debt… Like …the
Erase the debt… Like …the people at the top of the international banking scheme just decide to pop a hole in the debt? Like every so often, even? (Imagine the financial implications for people under them.) Sound kind of like revolution to me.

  13. Since we have a fiat
Since we have a fiat currency, it would stand to reason that the debt we accumulate would be fiat as well. This is all a grand illusion, the whole story we have collectively bought into. The unfortunate thing in all of this is how many people are homeless, or even worse, who have killed themselves over debt issues. These banksters have set up this fiat system, stole from the coffers, made everyone else pay for all the losses, and now are acting as if they deserve all they have achieved because they were able to do what they did, which is to commit massive fraud on a scale never seen before. I believe they are deliberately creating the economic collapse we are now experiencing and ruining people’s lives in the process. And the entire scheme/system is an illusion that we believe to be reality only because we bought into the story. It’s time to write a different story where everyone wins, not just this greedy criminal 1% who somehow feel they have the right to write our story for us.

For instance, how about this story:

No one born on this planet should have to pay for basic essentials: FOOD, SHELTER, ENERGY, EDUCATION, HEALTHCARE, TRANSPORTATION. Everyone on this planet should have their basic needs met. Period.

I think if we can eradicate poverty and hunger we might be able to jumpstart research and innovation on this planet, creating a new Renaissance.

  15. @Jennykre, I’m with you up to
@Jennykre, I’m with you up to the new story. All the things you want for free have to be produced by somebody. If the producers HAVE to produce them for others, they are slaves. Unless we get AI and turn over labor to the robots, which is down the road but coming. And surely there are other basic needs, like gigabit internet access. And it says right here on my Sexual Security Card that I’m entitled to…well, let’s hope for lifelike gynedroids. That great and good man Robert LeFevre asked the right question, in my estimation: when is it OK for a group (gang, government, religion) to do something that it is not OK for an individual to do? I hope you all will join me in saying “never” and help to end coercion and deception forever.

    1. There are so many shenanigans
There are so many shenanigans being played right now by governments around the world, but it seems the biggest culprits are the U.S., the U.K., and Israel, or at least they are the most transparent and have the most power to do the most harm. We blackmail countries with our food exports, we meddle in the affairs of every nation on this earth, we talk democracy but we coddle and prop up dictators around the world. People are starving in Africa, the rain forest is being destroyed, no one seems to be doing anything about climate change, we are given no options with regard to the food we eat as GMOs are shoved down our throats. And we are now being told that there is no money left for any social programs while the military enjoys its biggest budget ever and the ultra rich just keep on getting richer. $3.3 Trillion dollars has gone missing from the Pentagon alone and no one even raises an eyebrow. We have rendition programs and torture people all over the world. We have death squads that clandestinely go into countries and assassinate people. There are no checks and balances whatsoever any longer. All of this is being done in our name. These leaders have literally gone insane and we the people who cry foul are now being called terrorists.

The ultra rich 1% control most of the wealth in this world, and they believe they have the right to write the story of our reality, even though they don’t live by the rules they force us to follow. They control the resources and they decide who is in and who is on the outs. This is why no one has gone to jail for this incredible crime of the millennium that has thrown people out of their jobs and homes and completely sacked the global economy. It’s a case of the ultra rich wolves guarding the hen house. They have completely infiltrated governments and own all the multinational corporations, so they get to write the rules. Our rights are being chipped away at an dizzying speed under the guise of a “war on terror”. Corporations now have more human rights than human beings do. Is that not insanity? Not only that, but for anyone who follows the excellent interviews conducted on this site, it’s clear they are also controlling all information related to UFOs, disclosure, free energy, etc. So these people have pretty much cheated, lied, and committed fraud and in some cases murder on their way into these positions of power, and from their high and lofty places they feel they are entitled to dictate to us, the average person, what we have a right to know and what we don’t. Who are these people who are writing the story of our reality? Those who are telling us things are so bleak and have brought countries to their knees so they can go in and buy up all the airports and banks and natural resources for pennies on the dollar? They are criminals. Men and women who are criminally insane. And their story is false. And we have to stop letting them run the world, because they are running it into the ground at light speed for their own personal gain.

There are enough resources to feed everyone on this planet, and if our resources were being used honestly and to be of benefit to the masses instead of a means to make a few people filthy rich then we might have a better world. For instance, I don’t believe there should be any profit on things like oil and natural gas, and things of that nature that people need to survive. We should not have to become slaves just in order to have our basic needs met. It doesn’t mean no one gets paid for pulling oil out of the ground or whatever, but these huge profits being made by corporations as we speak, while those same corporations are cutting services, those games just have to stop right now. It is just insane that we do not have a coherent way to voice our opposition to the destruction of our planet.

It is just my feeling that by now we as a species should be at a place in our consciousness where we understand our relationship to nature and to each other. It’s a crime to let people suffer and starve to death when there is enough food to feed everyone. How many Einsteins have we lost to starvation and poverty? This is shameful. I’ve been thinking a lot about this, and I have come to believe that everyone on this planet should share in the same basic human rights, and everyone born on this planet should be afforded the dignity of having his or her basic needs met. I don’t have all the answers, but there must be a way to do this. A really good start would be to forgive everyone’s debt and start over. That sounds like the beginning of a great story.

  16. I agree with You Jennykre in
I agree with You Jennykre in a lot of what You describe. Nobody is thinking about what the planet will look like in 500 or 5000 or 50.000 years. Everybody is busy dealing with this week. ChrisMartenson on Youtube has an excellent series about this. Fx. this hole planet is run on oil, and we are running out in 10-40 years. Production peaked in 2005.

  17. Thank you, Frek, for pointing
Thank you, Frek, for pointing me in the direction of Chris Martenson on YouTube. One of my greatest teachers said that it was very important that we not focus on the structures that are falling, and get caught up in the drama and negativity of that, but instead to focus on all the better systems and ideas that will be there to replace the old ways and old structures when they collapse. So in essence he was saying not to listen to the old worn out stories, but find and give your energy to the new stories. It is clear that Chris Martenson is ahead of the curve and is helping others to weather the current storm. It is very clear that the way the world has been run is dying. We are witnessing its death throes now. Our governments are very much aware of this, which is why all the land grabbing is going on and all the desperate accumulation of resources by nations and individuals, and all the legislation being passed now to take away our rights. All of these actions are seeded in fear. What they fail to realize is that “ownership” of anything is just another story as well, and in order to get anything done of any significance they need cooperation of the people, they need a majority of people to buy into their story. Governments have been toppled before, and governments will continue to be toppled when their story no longer holds water, so to speak, and when they stop serving the people who elected them into their positions. People now are feeling very duped by the promise of the American Dream and all that encompasses, and have lost faith in that story. In their frustration and desperation they have now begun taking to the streets. Whitley’s idea to forgive the debt is a nice one, but not one I think will happen unless by force. Several of the banks took the bail out money from the government in order to buy up blocks of student loans and other loans, so they used government money to make more money off the backs of the people. Didn’t cost them a cent. I don’t think they’ll be willing to give up their profits so easily. I just think these people are criminally insane, and we need to govern ourselves at this point and leave the old system behind altogether. What Chris Martenson has to say is very relevant for the turbulent times we are facing. Thanks again!
