I HIGHLY recommend this book. Conner asks if you are an Elvis person or a Beatles person. I’ve always firmly been with Elvis, so this book confirmed my own connection to Elvis…which came to me out of nowhere while driving to work one morning several years ago. When The Beatles arrived, all the girls I knew were Beatles fanatics—I wasn’t. They were great, but just not in the same realm that he was. To this day, I have never bought any music done by The Beatles, but I have an extensive collection by Elvis, including his Christmas album. He did a concert here in March 1977, and I so wanted to go, but couldn’t. Before the end of August that same year, he was gone. Oddly enough, I worked with someone at that time who knew him when he was in the Army stationed in Germany. So, one degree of separation…This book may surprise you, but it confirmed some things for me.
